The front fender was fairly fussy to install due to the uneven tension on the disc brake side. The accompanying hardware is intended to create enough space for the fender mount not to interfere or rub against the disc brake caliper housing, but it doesn't work that great. The uneven tension makes it hard to center over the tire. Also the fender mount rattled against the brake caliper housing, but I made a fix for that with two-inch segment of a thick rubber band folded double. The friction point is now padded and silent. All that being said, I've ridden in wet conditions a few times and had little to no spray on me, my shoes, or my frame. They do the job well once finely adjusted and installed properly. You just have to be patient.

During the COVID-19 shutdown, I found myself with extra time at home, so I decided upon a bike project. I bought an old 1980's Raleigh Technium, repainted it, and outfitted it with a combination of parts from a box I had in the garage as well as new parts which I mostly bought from Bike Tires Direct. Since the bike had the bosses for a rack, I decided to build the bike as a touring bicycle, and touring bicycles need to have fenders. I read up on all the fender options on the CyclingAbout website, and the Planet Bike fenders seemed like a good option. I was able to buy these for a good price at Bike Tires Direct, and they arrived promptly. Installing these fenders and both front and back Tubus racks was pretty easy, though I did need some longer bolts than were supplied with either the racks or the fenders, and the longer bolts were readily available from my nearby ACE Hardware store. Overall, the project was enjoyable and the bicycle seems well suited for light touring. I am very happy with these fenders as they are both light and tough, and they look great on my bike.

This is the go-to fender for my winter/rain road bike. They keep me and my teammates dry on rainy training rides, and help reduce the grime on my shoes and chain rings. It is more fashionable to hammer the race bike fenderless in the winter, but F that! Gimme the fenders for my rain rig.

I ride in the rain (a lot). These fenders are great. They were easy to install, don't rattle, and fully cover the tire. They are not fancy, but they do the job for much less than other fenders.

I bought these to fit to a 26 wheel MTB running Big Apple tires. The were easy to fit, just needed the stays trimmed due to the smaller wheel size. So far I have not had any rattles from them like I have had with other brands. I can't comment on the long term performance as yet.

I put them on my touring bike that has 35mm tires. They have all the equipment you need assuming you have the proper mounting locations on your frame. They provide great coverage and look nice too.

I use these on my vintage rigid mountain bike converted with Jones bars and double fighter iii tires. I take it on single track and my commute. The fenders seem to be able to handle a pretty severe beating without rattling. They rock.

These fenders made a huge difference on our 6 day trip on the C&O. The trail was muddy and we weren't. They worked great on the wife's hybrid, but had some issues on my old Fuji Saratoga. The fenders fit tight to the tire, and would pack with mud and sand I need to modify them to work better on the Fuji I also picked up a stick with my rear wheel spokes, and accordioned the fender. Looked like the end of that fender, but no, pulled it all back, made some adjustments and all was good. I'm glad we had them on this trip, they keep us and our bikes clean.

This fender is replacing a set of Planet Bike Hardcore fenders on my touring bike. The Hardcore fenders broke during shipping back home after a tour. I wasn't too disappointed because I wanted the extra coverage of the Cascadia Fenders. I have the Cascadia Fenders on my commuter so I knew how good they are. The Hardcore fenders only broke because I had mounted them in a non-standard way and they couldn't support the weight that was placed on them in the shipping box.
I placed the fork mount of the front fender behind the fork to put the bottom of the front fender as low as possible and get maximum protection.

Put these on a touring bike. The only problem was the mounting bracket to attach to the top of the forks wasn't long enough. It left the fender too far off the wheel for my liking. This was more of a bike problem then a fender problem. The same mounting bracket is on every fender I looked at. It was easily solved with short metal piece I drilled a couple holes in. Very nice looking fenders. Seem sturdy and durable.

I purchased the Planet Bike Cascadia Fenders for use on a dedicated winter bike.
I've ridden on slushy, salty, and wet roads through every month of this past winter in Minnesota.
I've been amazed at how well these fenders completely eliminate spray on my clothes.
As the weather warmed above freezing recently I started using a new bright red cycling jacket with white side panels.
I thought there is no way this thing will stay clean considering the roads have been completely wet and salty.
The jacket has remained completely clean through several recent rides.
I was planning to store the winter bike when I didn't need it in the summer, but I think I'll keep it out just to enjoy riding on wet roads with no spray, unlike my usual road bike.

Installed these with no problems. Well engineered. No more water splatters. Only issue my bike has no chain stay bridge. I can confirm that their tech support (reached by phone) cable tie (furnished) recommendation adequately anchors the rear fender front to the bike chain stays.

Purchased these fenders for my touring bike and they have not let me down. I was especially pleased with the quality for the price. Installed easily and are very sturdy(don't bounce and rub on the tires. Overall length of the fender is perfect, no issue of splash or debris while on my last tour(300 Miles).

I didn't think I could find fenders for my 29er but here they are. Excellent fit and finish. Using stainless steel was very much appreciated. A little trimming is in order. BTW, the front fender may not have axle holes in the right place but you can use the black nylon ties to secure to the forks. Looks and feels like factory.

I have been using Planet Bike Cascadia fenders for several years, mainly on my bikes used for commuting. The Cascadias are easy to install and adjust, don't rub my tires and are quiet. The built-in mudflaps are a nice feature and make the fenders much more effective. PB also has excellent customer service and replaced free-of-charge one of my fenders that failed prematurely.

I really like these fenders and the amount of coverage you get for 2 main reasons.
1. To keep the the dust and grit kicked up from the road out of my kids face in the pull behind trailer.
2. Recently moved close to Chicago and wanted a good fender for wet and nasty conditions.
I use these on my steel road bike with 32c vitt randos and there is clearance for wider tires. Fenders were easy to install and adjust with the mounting hardware included. There is a little bit of toe overlap at low speed turns but the rubber flap easily bends out of the way and I don't find it to be a problem.
I think the value is good and looked at the sks longboards before deciding on these because of price and ease of installation.
BTD runs great sales and usually can grab these at a discount.
I did have to add a few small washers to the cassette side fender mount to keep the screw away from the cassette so I could shift into my smallest rear cog.

I use these on my cyclocross bike which is my do-all workhorse. It's my only source of transportation and I live in rural Oregon, 14 miles from the closest grocery store, so there is no putting up with second rate equipment. Because I also race, my fenders come off and go back on very frequently so ease of installation, including getting a nice fit, is as important as the perceived durability and overall quality of these fenders. They fit nice and secure. No rattling vibrations or any change in feel to the bikes ride in any way other than the fact that I stay nice and dry. To already have a buddy flap is a bonus to the already very complete coverage. I'm incredibly pleased with every aspect of these fenders so far.

I purchased these fenders to use on my 29er hardtail for winter commuting. I wanted this style rather than the traditional MTB fenders to better catch the water and road muck. Be warned the front fender is difficult to mount on a bike with a front shock as most of them are not designed to take this type of fender. With some improvising I was able to make it work.

These fenders have turned me from a cyclist that cringes when the road is anywhere close to wet, to a rider that isn't afraid to hit a puddle or two or ride through a downpour! My main reason for not riding in wet conditions was the dirty road spray, more so than getting wet. These things also keep your drivetrain clean and your feet dry. In addition, if you live in an area with lots of other cyclists, the rear fender and mudguard provides ample coverage to keep spray off your fellow cyclists.
The instructions are kind of bad, and they will take time to dial in if you are getting the smallest road fenders. I put these on my 700x25c tires and chose the 35mm fenders. They took several remounts, but do not rub any longer and are great!

Good fenders, and easy to install. However, bottom section (rubber mud flaps) not straight or inline with fenders. In other words bent or crooked. Somewhat difficult to align properly.
