I have some other partial toe covers (which interfere with my ability to clip in) and some thicker neoprene covers (which don't protect from the elements as well and look / feel clunky). But these covers are very sleek / aero and do a great job blocking wind / rain. I use a good thick sock(s) and these guys in 30's and have no issues with frozen toes at the end of my rides. They feel and look great. I don't feel like I'm walking around in concrete shoes when wearing them. I even bought a second pair for my wife so her toes wouldn't freeze either.

Used these a few times now in cold Portland rain on 1-2 hour rides. Kept my feet warm & dry. However, they appear to be made of a very thin PVC/pleather-like outer material, and I will be surprised if they last more than a season. Maybe they will prove me wrong, but the outer material started developing bubbles after the first ride or two. I use SIDI size 44.5, the x-large is quite form fitting. Maybe it's just getting stretched too much. For larger than 44-45, x-large might be too small. Otherwise they are quite good considering cost of other options. Time will tell. If it's cold and dry, I just use my neopreens.

I was looking for a shoe cover to bring to Belgium for a week of riding in case it rained. It did. And these worked like a charm. Easy to get on and off and they kept my feet dry. I've tried other versions that ripped or were a nuisance to get on and off. As an added bonus, we got hit by a surprise cold snap and these helped to keep my feet warm

works great with two Velcro closures which allow a better fit.keeps the feet nice ands warm and shoes clean. I have already worn a spot on them by the crank and had to gorilla tape it that's why the 4 stars.

These shoe covers fit nice and tight once adjusted, have a bit of insulation and been pretty waterproof this season. My only complaint is that velcro closure can be a little fiddly to secure when you first put them on every time, but I like overall.

The picture was different with red accents and slightly different appearance. The covers are great, Biketiresdirect needs to display accurately what you're getting!! Won't order again from them unless I get confirmation what they're showing is what I'm getting

I do tape the back flap down as i feel it's more aero that way. Use them for every race

I love these booties. I wear them out every winter, lots of gross wet muddy Portland Oregon miles take their toll, but it's worth buying a fresh pair every fall. They are pretty darned waterproof (let's face it, nothing's actually 100% waterproof). They're also very easy to put on, the velcro closure on the back makes life easy.

Good shoe cover, affordable price. These will not necessarily keep your feet warm in temps <45F but they do cut down wind chill and make a huge difference.

These are easy to get on and off--once I got a size Large for my 37 size shoe. So I have a bit of toe room but I don't mind. Maybe I'll stuff some wool inside to stay a little warmer.

So many shoe covers are really just designed for cold. But in Portland, rain is a much bigger issue. Neoprene covers get water logged and super heavy when wetmaking an uncomfortable situation worse! But these lightweight shoe covers are waterproof (at least from the top) and stay light even when wet. I use them with summer socks (Rapha Pro) and my feet dont get cold even when its in the low 30s because they are also very wind resistant. The Velcro attachment at the rear may not be as sleek as a zipper, but they are very easy to get on and off while remaining snug and sleek like a road shoe ought to be. The only thing that would make them better would be a reinforced toe and some tasteful reflection on the back and sides. Other than that, no complaints.

These booties are sleek, form-fitting, and aerodynamic. The double Velcro rear closure makes them easy to put on and take off. They are warm, and do a good job keeping the wind out. Keeping water out is a different story. They work well in a light rain or when the roads are wet, but they are definitely not waterproof. They will soak through in less than an hour in a heavy rain. In addition, they seem a little delicate - the bottom of one is already fraying around the cleat opening (I use Shimano SPD road cleats), and I've only had them for a few months.
I was looking for a more aero and form-fitting alternative to my bulky but definitely waterproof Gore Tex booties. These work well on damp roads or in a light rain, but when it's really coming down - which it often is in Portland - I'm sticking with the Gore Tex clunkers. They may be bulky, but they are more effective in really wet conditions. Plus, they are more durable. I'll go with the sleeker Pearl Izumis in milder conditions.
