Reliably torques to manufacturer's standards.

First off, I had to double checked to make sure this tool was calibrated properly. Once that was done, I have used this tool not only for components on carbon frames but on all components on all bike frames. Having the proper torque is crucial. Some bike mechanics say they don't need to use a torque wrench, they know by feel... I have yet to met that mechanic that can get the torque correct by feel... close, but no cigar ! ( I have been involved with bike racing & a mechanics for over 35 yrs)
With that said, Park could have included a set of metric hex keys ( like the Pro Torque Wrench or Pedro's) for the price paid. The 38 adapter was sloppy loose on my model. So won't use it. I opted to purchase a 14 set of metric keys from an American manufacturer .....
.. There are some better torque wrenches on the market for a few $$ less ( and with the keysbits)
I feel Park Tool Company is not what is once was... too bad.

I use this torque wrench servicing bicycles and works very well. A nice update would be to have the option of having a larger socket so you don't have to use the adapter. There has been a couple of times when using the adapter proved to be too long and unable to use this torque wrench. Yes, I could buy different sockets but it get expensive.

Does what is supposed to do!

I bought the wrench to use on my carbon high end tt bike. One sets the torque by the handle using the dial indicator. Easy to set the torque but uncertain about it's accuracy. One has to trust Park and assume it is calibrated. Do not assume it will click. Works similar to Ritchtey Torque wrench in that when one reaches the proper torque the wrench will like release or give. No click just a sudden release. It come with 3/8 inch hex key adapter. The 3/8 inch adapter is too lose and would recommend buying a set of hex keys that fits the 1/4 inch head that is on the wrench. 1/4 inch hex keys especially metric one are not cheap.. Not coming with a set of hex keys is major weakness with addition cost. The wrench should have had 3/8 inch head. I have stripped several bolt heads using hex keys that fit a 3/8 inch head. Pedro's torque wrench comes with a set metric hex keys and is cheaper. In the end look around because Park did not get it right this wrench.

invaluable for your carbon frame and carbon components. Takes the guess work out of tightening those bolts that you rely upon for your safety. You're nuts if you think you can do it by feel. Plop the $$ down and worry about something else.

YOU HAVE TO OWN ONE OF THESE IF YOU DO ANY OF YOUR OWN MAINTENANCE ON YOUR BIKES. ALL STEM BOLTS , SEAT POST CLAMPS, AND ANY SMALL DIAMETER BOLTS OR SCREWS HAVE A SPECIFIC TORQUE AND BIKE COMPANIES WONT WARRANTY ANY FRAMES OR HANDLBARS IF THE PARTS ARE OVER TORQUED. TOTALLY NECESSARY FOR YOUR SAFETY. BEST TOOL ON THE MARKET.

Works as designed, kinda expensive, but worth it knowing without it a perfectly good fram can ruined.

I bought this torque wrench initially to set up my carbon handlebars and ended up using it for readjusting all the bolts on my carbon fibre pinarello bike. Great tool, will recommend for anyone who want to maintain a high end bike.

I needed a torque wrench after purchasing my first carbon bike. Looked at others, but this one had the widest range of torque settings and the brand reputation for quality. Kind of expensive, but not too bad if purchased on sale.

Works great and keeps the Carbon fiber components intact

I haven't yet had the opprotunity to use this torque wrench though, just messing around it appears to be another quality Park tool.

This is an essential tool for any serious cyclist. The plethora of carbon fiber parts, and titanium bolts requires careful and calculated tightening forces. The ONLY way to be certain that parts are properly torqued is with a torque wrench. This torque wrench handles the majority of the parts on your bike, only the cassette will require a higher limit torque wrench.
The Park Tool wrench comes with its own case, and an adaptor for 14 to 38 drive sockets.
