700x25 - Still flat-free and riding quick after 300 miles

I ride 40-60 milesweek. Went from 700x23 service course tires to these once they wore out. The added shock absorption has been wonderful and the cornering feels very comparable to my old service courses. They come very close to rubbing against my frame, however the clearance is fine. I got really lucky because I would have missed out on riding some great tires. Still no flats or punctures, so I couldn't ask for more.

Thank you for your feedback.

Great road bike tire

The Michelin Pro4 Endurance is my favorite tire of all time. Excellent traction and low rolling resistance, decent puncture resistance. I was lucky to get them, because Michelin has discontinued them, and the replacement, "the power", according to reviews, does not have as good puncture resistance.

Thank you for your feedback.

Long lasting, puncture-resistant tire

I've ridden this tire for several years totaling more than 20k miles. I've gotten as much as 4K miles out of a front tire, but typically about 2.5k miles. I've found these tires to be reasonably puncture resistant - about on a par with Continental Gatorskins. They ride comfortably and corner well.

Thank you for your feedback.

Great all rounder

I have put several hundred miles on these tires so far without any issues. Solid grip, no flats so far and ridden on plenty of rough surfaces and highway shoulders. Slightly heavier handling than some race tires but overall great for logging lots of miles with more than decent performance on the local descents.

Thank you for your feedback.

Excellent*****

23mm

I bike 5-11,000 km per year and have used these for several years.

Good grip, good rolling+good puncture resistance.

Keep buying them because, yep, you figured it out.

Also Biktiresdirect has been great, competitive prices and prompt delivery. Thanks.

Thank you for your feedback.

.25 size is large

There are many comments about these tires. I recently purchased a .25 size tire to match up with a Maxxis ReFuse that I had for the back wheel. I was surprised that the flattened out tires were quite different - the Michelin was easily a quarter inch larger bead to bead. I have not used a caliper, but it is bigger on the rim too.

I don't regard this as a problem, but the amount of difference was a surprise.

Thank you for your feedback.

Endurance is Misleading

I think to label these tires as endurance is a disservice to the rider. I purchased these tires because, if there's anyone in my riding group who flats, it's usually me! After purchasing these tires & riding on them, I can still say, If there's anyone in my riding group who flats, it's usually me!

Thank you for your feedback.

Seems to be as advertised

Have been riding on these for the last month ~1000 miles. They are good! I Like the rolling resistance and the grip as well. I did get a pinch flat from a stone but the tires held up after inspection of them. I will update later after more miles on the Texas rural roads.

Thank you for your feedback.

Great Training Tire!!!!

Mounted these tires on my Campagnolo Eurus wheelset and aired them up 100 front, 100 rear let them sit for a day then deflated the tires to 90 front, 95 rear went out for a nice 25-30 mile ride and these tires Ride Great!! Gotta put more miles on them to do a long term review.

Love the ride.

I replaced 28mm Continental 4000s with the 25mm Pro4 Endurance and I am glad I did.

The ride is more supple, and so far no flats.

I got a flat at least every other 50+ mile ride with the Continentals, and they were such a hassle to remove from my DuraAce rims.

Thank you for your feedback.

Nice tire.

I bought it because the tire had a very good puncture resistance rating and a very low

Rolling resistance rating. No other tire rated this good. Rolling resistance is about 14.5.

Puncture resistance about 70. This ratio worked for me.

Thank you for your feedback.

Ride quality is great but life expectency is short.

I'm 5'4, 115lbs and keep the tires at 90-95 front 95-100 rear. The ride quality is great. They're grippy in the turns and feel really nice and quick in the straights if you keep an eye on your tire pressure. I can't recall ever having felt that I didn't have control over the tires in handling. I've had one flat from a thorn and one from a pinch flat.

I've only managed to put about 350-450 miles on these tires and stored the bike indoors. Even though they're supposed to have plenty of life left the tires have been exhibiting severe cracking and flaking. If I rub my hands across the surface of the tire it leaves a thick dusty residue on my hand from the tire flaking apart. If i scratch it with my fingernail I leave a deep gouged valley in the surface. I've decided to now replace the tires because the cracks in the surface make me suspect I may experience a complete tire failure when I'm out on the road. I've contacted Michelin through their website but have yet to hear back from them.

So overall the ride on these tires are great. If you can grind through a pair of tires in a few months then get them. You won't be disappointed with their performance. If you're expecting any kind of meaningful lifespan from these tires then you should definitely shop around. There are other tires out there that ride just as well and will last for more than one season.

Thank you for your feedback.

Michelin Pro4 Endurance 25mm tires are rugged, fast and smooth riding.

Based on the mfr's recommendation for my new medium-depth carbon clincher wheelset, I bought the Pro4 Endurance 25mm tires. With over 1500km on them, including mileage on still winter littered roads, I am impressed that there are no cuts, and there's only insignificant wear and that only on the rear tire. I've done several road races and criteriums on them and have been pleased with their ride quality & cornering (both dry & wet). Paired with the wider rim, the combination is as aero as a deeper (56mm) carbon tubular wheelset with 23mm tires that I use primarily for climbing races (lighter weight)..

Thank you for your feedback.

Better than the Krylion that it replaces, and that was a great tire!

This is my go to tire for daily training and long european tours. For me (190) it seems to be the perfect combination of weight, durability and stickiness in both dry and wet. My home roads have loads of basalt chips that just eat other tires. I can ride these over the occasional gravel section to connect a loop without worrying that they will get shredded. Yet they are light enough and supple enough to handle well and feel good. I go through about two rear tires a year and one front... typically change the rear when I put on a new chain... that is about 2,500 miles. They could go longer but my experience on our local roads is that once you see the profile go from rounded to about a 14 (5mm) flat spot then I might get a flat.

Thank you for your feedback.

Love these tires

Thought I'd give these a try because I've had really good experience with Michelin tires on my motorcycle and car. Crazy reason I know. But let me tell you what. I gained a little speed with these and actually feel like I can tell they're faster and easier to get the power to the ground. Extremely happy and highly recommend.
