Of all of the energy gels, GU are consistently my favorite. I don't think they work any better or worse than anyone else's product. I just prefer the flavor and consistency of GU gels to the other options.

I like the cola mid- or immediately post-ride to ward off the bonk demons :)

I use this product as directed, taking 1 every 45 minutes during my rides. I prefer the ones with caffeine that my friend who is a personal trainer recommended. Helps to keep me fueled and stave off cramps.

Compact in size and a great energy booster!

I usually buy the "Chocolate Outrage" version because, well, I like chocolate. I'm glad I tried the Tri-Berry . . . it goes down more easily (always need a good drink of water after the chocolate, and some after Tri-Berry, but less so) and the taste is just fine.

These are good gel packs for last miles pick-me-up.

We tried out the Salted Caramel. It only has the taste of a hint of vanilla. Consistency is OK, not too thick.

I've tried different brands and flavors but GU salted caramel is my favorite.

I use these on just about every ride. Recently completed another century ride with this reliable nutrition.

I always enjoy a Gel while stretching out & hydrating before a ride. Then another at some point along my bicycling route. They seem to give me a bit of an edge during my rides. Buying them by the box guarantees I'll have them even when they are unavailable at sports stores or my local bicycle shop. Mandarin orange seems to be a popular flavor and absent from stores.

I have to say I am not a big gel fan. This one tastes ok and keeps me going, all in a small package

Gu isn't necessarily my favorite gel as I tend to prefer the more watery gels, but it's one I always have on hand because the value is decent and flavors are great.

These are as good as Clif Shots.

convenient easy to carry energy for the long rides. only slight draw back is carrying sandwich bag for empties as I am not a litter bug (can not stand them). Cola flavor makes me think of RC Cola.

Best gel on the market

When I am out on a 60+mile ride I like a quick easy pick up on the way home, its easy to use in a small flask or small amounts for a short ride home at the end of the work day.
