I just took my first MTB ride wearing these pants, in 36 degree November weather. Frozen puddles and snow on the mountains. I wore a padded short underneath and a pair of light wool, tall socks. I was never cold and the articulation at the knees worked great. The tapered zippered legs fit nicely into my boots. The waist fits up over the hip bones and uses an internal belt that can be adjusted. The pants never slipped down during my single track adventure. These pants are another step warmer than all of my other winter bib tights and will allow me to ride in 30 degree weather. I'm 6'3', 199 pounds, 35 inch waist, and 35' inseam, and I wear a large in these pants.

These are great pants. I wear them a lot, even off bike. I have winter bib tights, but I often want a pair of pants, with no chamois, and insulated. These are ideal. The fleece lining keeps me warmer than any bibs, and the fit is just right. I have 33-34 waist, and the Medium fits well (I got the Large at first, but returned it). Be warned, they are warm. I ride for multiple hours in 20F to 30F degree weather, and you can't feel the cold at all.
