So far holding pressure well even after 2+ months of minimal winter use

Like I said I mostly snowboard winters but during droughts get the bike out. My old tubes would leak out after a month or so. Have not topped these off yet. Anytime I don't gotta pump up and can hop on is a good day for me...

Thank you for your feedback.

Best I have found for 26

Hands down the best value for 26" tubes out there. Sure, there are cheaper ones to be had, but I'd rather be riding than fixing flats. Never had one fail right out of the box like some of the cheapies I've tried in a pinch. Just not worth the meager savings. Stock up when they go on sale. Can't miss with these.

works like it should

It's a tube. Installed easily, holds air like it should. Less expensive than LBS and it's the right size.

good tube to match new snow tires

When I ordered the Continental Top Contact winter snow tires for my commute bike, I went with a wider tire for dealing with snow, and for extra security, ordered these new tubes to fit the new tires. The last thing you want in winter commuter conditions is to have to fix a flat in freezing temperatures. These tubes got me through winter and snowpocalypse with no worries. Also, the shipment of tires and tubes arrived in just 2 days, all the way from Portland to my front door in Wenatchee. Usually I go with the LBS, but they told me the tires were not available and out of stock. Biketires direct got them to me right away before the snow hit.

Inexpensiveeasy to install

These are quality inexpensive tubes. The valve stem is threaded all the way to the base and there is a nut that goes over the threads. This gives you the ability to secure the valve stem in place making installation incredibly easy.

1 of 4 blew out installing

Normally have great luck out of continental tires and tubes. But the first tube I had blew up while inflating at just over 40 psi. Had to run to the local bike store and pay twice the price for a lower quality tube. Kind of disappointing, but the other three held.

Thank you for your feedback.

Tube blew out while inflating first time

I got these tubes to match with some Continental tires bought at the same time. While I was installing the first tire, the tube blew out at about 50 psi, about a 4 inch long split. Could have been pinched, or a one in a million defect, I don't know. I never had a tube blow out like this before in 40 years. But since this was for my wife's bike I switched for some older Specialized tubes I had on the shelf that were a bit thicker rubber.

Thank you for your feedback.

Highly Recommended!

I run 1.5 semi-slicks on my mountain bike for road use. The standard 1.75-2.1 mountain tube does not install well and pinch flats. This tube solves the problem. The rubber thickness is a bit more and more reliable against flats. I have over 15 bikes and I am convinced the Conti tube is the best! Rumor has it that all tubes come from the same factories in China but for whatever reason the Conti tubes are the best quality, easy to install, but most importantly reliable. Get them!

So far so good

The threaded valve stem is a cool idea and helps make it a little easier to get some pumps latched on to the stem when there's no air in the tube. I've been using the Schrader version. Gave good volume to the 2.2 tires I used and fit done in the 1.95 as well. I've run em at pretty low pressure on some rooty and rocky trails without any pinch flats yet. This is after a couple hundred miles of use. I feel confident using these tubes and will buy again.

Holds air and fits properly - works for me.

My old tubes no longer held air for more than a weekend, plus they had Presta valves. I can use my air compressor now that I have tubes with Schrader valves. Competitively priced.

Can't recommend enough!

These are the only tubes I can find that have a full thread on the valve stem. It makes it easy to fill with air, because the included nut prevents the stem from getting pushed back into the rim. These are the only tubes I use. They seem to last longer than others as well. Highly recommended!

best tubes out there

use continental tubes on all my bikes. good quality, hold up well. the threaded valve stem and nut help hold the stem in place when attaching pump hose. the attachment of the stem to the tube is better many other tubes which just wrap the tube around the stem making it harder to insert the stem thru the valve hole inthe rim.

Thank you for your feedback.

when changing tires, don't forget the tubes!

Replacing inner tubes when changing tires is cheap insurance against flats. It was nice to be able to buy tubes of the same brand as the tires I bought, insuring the same quality. Continental is a long established high quality brand - I have had excellent results with their motorcycle & automobile tires and these tubes show the same high quality in spite of their Asian origin.

Good tube, won't shift inside the rim

I've had trouble with normal tubes shifting around within the tire causing the tube to tear at the base of the stem causing flats. The threaded stem prevents the tube from shifting around eliminating those type of flats.

Finally! A threaded schrader tube for my vintage raleighs

I bought these tubes for my Raleigh Sprite and Raleigh sport 3 speed. I stated the bike names to help others find these tubes and BTD in their web searches.

After a long search I found what I wanted here at Bike Tires Direct and I am very pleased. The tubes do indeed have threaded Schrader valves, a bit long but they keep the period correct look of my late '60s bikes intact. The original 40 year old tubes only held air for hours but these continentals have yet to lose any noticeable pressure. Brand new tubes of this style are a great find for those who need dependable modern tubes that look like antiques.

Thank you for your feedback.

Good product at a decent price.

Typical mtb tubes. Nothing special about them.
