I have been riding these for a year. I ride tubeless and have not had any issues with the flats or cuts. These are comfortable and last me about a year (3k miles). I have older carbon rims that are very difficult to break the bead from the rim in the field, so I can't ride recreationally with thinner tires because if there was a cut, I would be calling an uber.I can mount and remove at home using hand tools and an air canister, They are no more difficult to mount than the Maxxis tires I was using before. I have lost strength in my hands, and have found that I can reliably break the bead with 3 plastic woodworking clamps that have one foot handles, I put these about 4 inches apart, and by torquing all 3 at once, I can get the bead to move into the center channel in that spot, then use normal methods. I need a plastic bead jack to mount, and an air canister to get the bead seated.

I do a lot of training miles with these tires. I typically get 2500 miles per set.

Have these on my gravel bike for road use. Nice cushioned ride with the great performance and flat resistance.

I ordered a set and both wobbled on the wheel, one worse than the other. I see others complain about the same thing snd it's a manufacturing defect. It's my 4th set and the others didn't have it so not sure how prevalent it is but if you google the issue you will see other complaints. Pretty sad quality control by Continental on a very expensive tire. They don't respond when asked about it. This is the 2nd time i have posted this review so I don;t know if BTD censors reviews.

This tire is fast, durable, puncture-resistant, supple, and sticky. I run a size 35c, so my only minor criticism is that it has some weight. I haven't used this particular version in smaller sizes, but I come from the time of running 23c GP3000 tires that were the best you could do at the time. They weighed much less, and I got flats all the time, and slid out on wet corners, and 120psi rattled my elbows. I run these tubeless and have been getting about 5000 miles out of a tire, without needing to repair any flats. I get curious about other tires, but I always just come back to these as they haven't let me down over 15K miles.

I've been a Continental Road Tire fan for over a decade now and these tires are no exception. They wear well and overall provide grip in all spring, summer and fall conditions. (No snow or Ice).
I'm riding 32mm AS version as tubeless setup with Orange Seal Endurance and I have them on 25mm internal Bontrager rims so they blow up to be about 34mm external. They provide a phenomenally comfortable feeling on the road. I run them at 46/48 psi with my 73kg weight. I've ridden these in lots of wet conditions, dry gravel, limestone trails and some really rough stuff that I wished I had even larger and they performed well beyond my expectations. I do inspect them after rides and pull out any items that seem to be stuck in them and then use some super glue to close up the small nicks and cuts. No plugs needed this past year so I'm counting my blessings there.
I currently have 4,158 miles on them (no joke) and I've just now had the rear tire not show the TWI (Tire Wear Indicators) disappear. I'm beyond impressed with these and will be retiring them this winter and replacing them with a brand new pair.

My first set over a year ago were 35mm, and ran with tubes. Several thousand miles later, I replaced them with the tan sidewall version (also 35s). Upgraded the wheelset to Hunt aero 40s tubeless-- and they are fantastically smooth on rough road and long distance rides. No, they aren't as light as the 5000 S, but if you're not racing, I choose reliability and comfort over pure weight. Are they a little spendy? Yeah, but the performance and comfort are worth it. Will keeping buying this tire!

700x32 replaced a same size Specialized Pathfinder Pro on the rear - so far only about 150 miles, but gotta say it's phenomenally low rolling resistance - running at ~50psi tubeless for ~160# bike & rider. Using a pull-over tool it was easy to install - might have got by with just levers. Primarily pavement, but have dabbling in a bit of gravel & hardpack make me confident to ride them through whatever I encounter. Very pleased so far. Unbeatable on sale at BTD $170 for two delivered to my front door!

I've been riding the 35mm AS TR for the last two years, with approximately 10,000 miles on two pairs, 90% on road and 10% on gravel. Not one flat that I had to repair. These tires are fast, comfortable, grippy, and durable. The tradeoffs for those qualities are some weight (mostly due to the 35mm size) and cost, neither of which is significant in relation to the benefits. I used to think that flatting once a month was part of the experience of riding a bike, or I could stretch that two months if I rode tires that felt like bricks (28mm Conti 4-Season or Schwalbe Marathon). Riding these tubeless tires is the most significant improvement in cycling equipment I've experienced in the last three decades. I'll go back to downtube friction shifters before I give up these tires. I used some other fast gravel/all-road tires before these, and while they were ok (Schalbe G-one variations and others) they were not as fast and wore out faster. I will switch to some knobbier and fatter tires if I'm going to be mostly off-road, but otherwise this is peak cycling tire for my needs.

After having some issues with the sidewalls tearing on rough Atlanta roads with the S TRs, I switched to these AS TRs and have had much better luck. They really feel just as fast, but are much more robust.

I just installed the 28mm tires on my girlfriend's road bike, followed by my road bike, and it was as if I was in a dream ' all four tires seated in the rim and inflated on the first try with a floor pump. No blasting air. No huffing and puffing. No eff bombs. Obviously, the Conti tires are going to perform on the road at a high level. I've been riding tubeless for 10 years, tried all the top brands and have been through hell (at times) getting them to set up. By now, I know all the tricks. But the installation experience with these just might be the thing that keeps me from trying any more tires.

I have a Trek Domane and previously used a set of GP5000 AS/TR and was very satisfied. This set, the tire on the front as the tiny strip on the side wall flapping already. This also occurred on my previous tires but not until long after the wear indicators had disappeared. And, the rear tire had the anomaly before the front tire. That little flapping strip of rubber on the upper part of the side wall is very annoying but does not appear to affect the performance....but at this price it is unacceptable. We will see about a refund/replacement. I dunno, but why cant we get a decent tire for a bicycle...this really sucks.

The right color durability and performance. These have become my go to choice for an all year, all around tubeless training tire.

I installed these tires on the road wheel set I use on my Trek Checkpoint gravel bike. My previous set of tires were Conti GP 5000 with tubes in size 28. Those were great with 0 flats over quite a few miles. When they finally wore out, I wanted to switch over to tubeless and decided to try the wider 32mm width. I only have a couple of rides on these so far, so can't speak to durability, but the ride is extremely smooth without feeling sluggish. I'm typically riding solo, and not racing so I'm not seeking the fastest tire possible - durability is more important to me. That said, these don't feel slow at all, and the ride comfort is superior. I've been running at about 55psi up front and 56 in the rear.
I needed levers for install, and it definitely took a little elbow grease, but nothing terribly difficult. Tires sealed with Orange Seal and only a floor pump. So far, I would definitely recommend.

The 32mm wide tires allow me to ride with TPU tubes at 51 psi front & 54 psi rear, due to firm sidewalls, and provides a soft ride with great traction. I don't yet know the longevity of these tires, but others have commented positively. Although they're more costly, all the benefits seem worthwhile and the reviews are very positive (https://www.bicyclerollingresistance.com). My only negative is that they're really hard to install (probably because they're intended to be used as tubeless).

You can't help but notice the quality of these tires when you first unbox them, very tight production tolerances with no discernable irregularities - even the excess rubber in the center of the tread is very
consistent. They do feel, stiff but it doesn't translate to a harsh ride. I think it is just a very dense compound. I just gave them a 40 mile maiden voyage on a typical late-Fall New England day with a mix of good, bad and truly horrendous wet roads and came away extremely impressed, such a great ride quality with loads of grip. The active comfort technology must be legit, these might be the best tubeless tires I've ridden to date as far as road feel goes - it's really like riding on clouds compared to many other race tires I've tried. They also feel very fast, honestly I could not detect the rolling resistance from these tires even on inclines and even though they are heavy-ish I didn't notice the weight. I didn't do any categorized climbs of course but a few steep ones anyway. Hopefully they will last me at least a few thousand miles, judging by all the 5 star reviews here and on other websites there appears to be a good chance they will.

Great for speeding down the steep mountain roads. no slip or squeegieing at all on the corners. The best we have used on corners. We also use these on gravel even though they have no tread. we use the 35 mm version since we are old guys and like the cushiness. No flats so far even though we had some punctures and one sidewall slice. The orange tubless goo filled in the small holes.

Great cornering. I you like going fast down mountin roads these tires do not slip at all. So far they are the best cornering tires we have tried. 35 mm wide for "old guy" comfort. We also use them for gravel, The dont have tread but still work in gravel. We also hits a few rocks and even got a sidewall scrape, but, no flat so far.

Continental has been my choice of tires for over 20 yrs. Started with the 4000 series 2003/2005 .They are still the best road tires for the type of long distance rides that i enjoy, 60+ mile days on paved roadways. I get between 5000/6000 miles on a set. I rotate them every 1500/2000 miles, depending on how well they are wearing which for me is about every 3 months. Not too much trouble as I have 2 sets of wheels mounted with these tires to swap out between. Running both sets tubeless.Wish the price were not so high, but I will still keep using them as I think they are the best tires for how I use them.
