All around rider of top-line equipment, I appreciate the durability and QC of all Conti's. Ride quality is superb. I still prefer smaller 23/25c tires for my road riding, but I don't hesitate to use these on the many dirt/gravel/rail sections which are parts of my usual loops.

My new(er) bike's tires were pretty tired. I DO NOT want a flat because I pushed the life of the tires that came on the bike. The Cont. Grand Prix are tight on the corners and smooth on the straightaways. Mine are 28mm because I'm a serious recreational rider.

I'm a one-bike guy so I need tires that allow me to commute in urban areas without constant flats AND keep up on longer road rides. After trying a few different tires, I've found these to best hit that sweet spot. They aren't the lightest, but they also aren't that heavy. I've been very happy with them and riding more confidently without flats since making the switch.

I bought Conti Grand Prix 4-season tires to replace Panaracers in a 700cx32mm size. I really liked the Panaracers, but wanted something more durable. I was concerned that the Grand Prix would be too harsh, but my concern was unfounded. The may not be as cushy as the soft sidewall Panaracers, but they arent bad at all, and the Conti duraskin sidewall seems tough. Traction is better than expected in loose stuff and dry cornering. They have about 400 miles on them, and tread wear seems good so far.

I have used Conti gatorskins in past. I tried these and they seem to perform just as well. Perhaps they are a bit lighter. I am very pleased with them.

Love these tires for their durability, traction, and puncture resistance. Just had to replace the rear tire after about 2,000mi but the front is still holding strong. I'll continue to buy these for the foreseeable future.

these are mounted on a tandem and need to be tough and smooth out the ride . and do that, they do. Get good mileage on other Contis and these seem to be in line to do the same. good traction, wet or dry

I live in an area that has a lot road debris and flats are very common. I have tried several different tires and brands and always come back to these tires for training and commuting. They still get cuts and punctures, but they are more durable than almost any tire I have ever used.

I have been riding Continental tires for over 15 years - GP 4000, 4 Season and Gatorskin - I love the ride characteristics and flat resistance and durability. The 4 Seasons has become my year round road bike tire and the Gatorskin(32) is my winter street ridingcommuting tire on gravel bike. I would recommend Continental tires to any and all asking about tire recommendations.

Road bike riding

I ride about 5000 miles a year on my road bike. I use a Conti Gatorskin on the rear and a Conti 4-Season on the front. On my last 4-Season I got 4000 miles with only one puncture which was a direct hit by a thorn I like having the 4-Season on the front because it is responsive and smooth-riding. I've tried tires from other manufacturers on the front that were also responsive and smooth-riding but not very durable-multiple punctures and low mileage. I'm sticking with the Conti 4-Season

Putting these tires on my crossgravel bike made a big difference in road performance. They are ok on gravel but lose traction on steep climbs. I plan on lowering pressure and trying again, however you obviously lose performance on the tarmac in doing so.

The Grand Prix 4-Season offers me plenty of options. Great for the road and for a bit of off-roading as well. It might require more watts to push it but look at it this way, you're getting more of workout! The grip has been great including on wet patches. It does have better puncture resistance but you will find something that can cause you to have a flat, I certainly have. At the same time I have rolled through plenty of stuff that would have flatted lesser tires. This is now my preferred tire and I love the size options as I use a 32mm.
