I got these tires as a trial between the expensive and light Veloflex Corsa tires and the heavy and hard to instal Maxxis Re-Fuse. So far these have held up well without any tread or sidewalls cuts (in contrast to the daily flats I got with the Veloflex), they're easy to install (in contrast to the Maxxis tires), and their weight is very reasonable so I don't feel too slow. Looking forward to a long term evaluation.

I bought my first set of these tires over two years ago. I have been riding the 4-Season 28c tires on my (retired) cyclocross bike on mixed surfaces, some single track and gravel roads as well as pavement. (I have had the Grand Prix 4000s on my road bikes for many years.) I wondered from the start how long the tires would last. Turned out to be longer than expected. While I don't have the exact mileage I am guessing 2000 miles with 2 or 3 flats. This week, getting ready to ride, I inflated and was inspecting the tires for cuts and dings and, as usually, found none. However, the rear tire has worn through to the woven fabric layer under the rubber. The tire still holds air so it could be (unsafely) ridden. Which brings me to 2 good points, 1) good quality tires are well worth the investment and 2) inspecting your tires before riding is a really good idea.

great tires. I placed this one on the back and have yet to get a flat tire, even when riding out in Grand Junction which is notorious for its goat heads.

Continental consistently produces high quality rubber for the road. This tire provides excellent durability and traction is wet conditions. Virtually puncture proof. Comfortable ride. Caught them on sale, well-worth the money!

Smooth ride and durable.

I bought these tires in 28mm for a roadgravel race and I'm now using them on my commutercross bike on some lousy roads with occasional smooth tarmac. They're faster than my Gatorskins and a bit more comfortable. So far, they have been plenty durable as well. I may take Gatorskins off my wife's bike and put these on, or buy her a pair of her own.

I have been using Continental tires for many years, tubular and clincher, and they are as close to fail safe as I have ever experienced. I have used several other brands but none have held up as well. They have great performance feel also.

I use these tires on my road bike in the pot hole, debris littered roads of Northeast Pa. I do group rides that still need a tire that rolls easy yet holds well on crummy roads as well as buttery smooth tarmac.

I have used three sets of Continental Grand Prix 4-Season tires without a single puncture and only one pinch flat. I get 2000 plus miles per set by rotating the front to back periodically as the back wears faster. Road surfaces vary from fresh asphalt to chunky broken pavement. I am totally satisfied with the balance of wear, comfort, and handling. Only caveat is that I am a light weight rider i.e. about 55kg on the bike.

Tire is long lasting. Very good tire as a training/weekend tire.

Had a confrontation with the concrete a couple years ago, broken femur - so I switched to Conti GP 4S's, still running the same set two years later. No more go boom. I have two road bikes and am running Conti's on both.

Great tires, at a great sale price from tires direct. Have put about 400 miles on them so far, no sign of wear at all. Comfortable and dependable, quick delivery. Will buy more.

I bought these expecting last season for set on bike 3-5000 miles on existing set, good price maybe good for another 1000.

I am waiting for my Gran Prix 4000 23c tires to wear out. I previously had 28c gatorskins on this aluminum road bike. Without a doubt Continental handmade road bike tires are second to none! I ride on road, trail and gravel with this bike. I'll be buying my gator hard shells from BikeTiresDirect for my steel touring bike.

Excellent value on these high end tires

I PURCHASED THESE TIRES IN THE FALL AND THEY LASTED FOR OVER 3000 MILES WHEN I REPLACED THEM IN FEBRUARY. I NEVER GOT A FLAT WITH THEM AND THEY CAUSED NO PROBLEMS. WHEN I REPLACED THEM THEY STILL HAD TREAD ON THEM, BUT THE BACK TIRE WAS LOSING IT'S GRIP. I PURCHASED ANOTHER SET, BUT GOT THEM IN 28 WIDTH. I WILL CONTINUE TO PURCHASE THESE TIRES FOR THE FALL, WINTER, AND SPRING AS THEY LAST LONG AND ROLL FAST FOR PUNCTURE RESISTANT TIRES.
