Great no problems tire

Over the years this tire has been my go to tire. Great for avoiding flats, and wear. I usually change them at 3000 miles, but they still have life in them.

Thank you for your feedback.

Good tires

I've used gator skins and hard shells for years. Knock on wood, very few flats.

Thank you for your feedback.

Best balance between weight and puncture resistence

Been using this particular tire for over a decade and over 40,000 miles. Weighs just a bit more than a racing tire, but is so much more puncture resistant. Sacrifice a little stickiness, but a seasoned bicyclist will intuitively know just are hard to push these in corners. Part of the weight savings is in the sidewalls. So prone to pinch flats if you do not keep the pressure near maximum 120 psi.

Thank you for your feedback.

Great tire. Awesome price

I have been running these tires in 23's for a while. Love them. The only thing this time i went to 25's to test this theory that larger is faster

Gatorskin tires for trouble free cycling many thousands of miles.

Continental Gatorskin tires are known throughout the cycling industry (and sport) for being mostly indestructible and incredibly flat resistant. The downside of being extremely expensive, you can moderate by watching Bike Tires Direct Sales . . . that's what I do anyway. Other downsides of Gatorskins, they're heavy. Yes, they are. They are also kind of ugly as road bike tires go. But (big BUT) I don't care about the extra weight and the rather industrial looks because they are so tough! Sidewall cuts are a thing of the past, they laugh at glass and most flat causing debris. A flat for any reason (other than snake-bike if you're running low pressure and hit a pot hole, for example) is outrageously rare.

Thank you for your feedback.

Awesome

The only tires I use. Gatorskins are a little heavier but much more durable. Don't leave home without them!

Love these tires!

About three years ago I went from 23 mm to 25 mm tires and got Gatorskins. Since then, on two different road bikes I have ridden two sets of them somewhere between 5000 and 7500 miles and had zero flats. The pair on my main bike was quite worn down, I bought a new set and they sat in my garage until about three weeks ago when I went through three big holes in about a mile and a half (and yelled at the guys I was riding with for not telling me they were coming up) and finally got a rear flat. Put the new ones on and i expect another three years of flat free riding. I ran them at about 100psi for the first two years. For about a year now i have substantially reduced the pressure i use and I run at 70-80 PSI with no discernible loss of speed (though the people I ride with might say I have no discernible speed to begin with so there is nothing to lose!!) Anyway, I obviously really like my Gatorskins!

Thank you for your feedback.

Awesome everyday tire

This tire is the perfect balance between performance and durability. I use them on my bike-to-work ride so they get a lot of miles. You can still get a flat but its way more rare than other tires Ive used. I highly recommend them.
