These are meant for warm weather riding. The upper part of the sock that clings to your leg is very thin and is a gripper type material. Washing by hand would be my recommendation followed by air drying. Good quality socks that feel fast.

I just wore these for a 90 mile road race and they worked great! Castelli makes quality gear and these socks are no exception. make sure that your legs are dry so that the silicone grippers can keep them up. If you have any slick lotion on they will fall down.

Bought this seeking a premium aero sock. It's a nice looking sock, but I've had to resort to using double sided adhesive tape to keep the sock from falling down. Someone needs to design an aero sock that stays up without such additional hassle.

Socks seem fine. Shorter than what you see pros wear. These just don�t stay up. Will return.
