If you're not a weight weenie, then Veloce is a good value. Shifting is smooth and quick. BTD had the best price at the time.

Wanted to have a better climbing range

I like everything about Campy Veloce and BikeTiresDirect prompt service. The price was a third what my local bike shop quoted me.

Best price I could find online for the replacement cassette. This is the cheaper model so weighs more but for the price I'm happy.

I bought this cassette as an alternative to running a full on compact crank set up. Running a standard 5339 chainring it allows me a awesome climbing ratio at a small sacrifice losing my 11 tooth high gear. Would like to see it finished less shiny but it works like a charm for the lower cost. Smooth shifting and quiet.

As a rider who runs Campy, I have always cringed at the cost of keeping the drive train running chainring, chain, and cassette all run into higher dollars in Campy than in the other two dominant brands. Plus, now that Campy has gone largely 11-speed, components for 10-speed are precious hard to find. Bike Tires Direct has kept stock of Campy 10-speed and offers all levels, including Veloce, which is the hardest cassette to wear out - it will outlast a $500 titanium cassette by far, and is the only Campy cassette you could hope to land for under $100. Personally, I would rather get a few extra months out of an inexpensive cassette than trim a few grams and pay dearly (and more often). The only drawback of Veloce is a limited offering of cog configurations the 12-23 is, at least for me, by far and away the best of the Veloce offerings,

Durable and relatively inexpensive cassette!
