Wolf Tooth Components ALT Performance XC Pedals

Description

Commanding Control for Trail and Gravel

Wolf Tooth Components ALT Performance XC Pedals are designed for commanding performance on trails and gravel roads. They're lighter and thinner than many other XC pedals, with a low stack height and more platform area for control and power transfer, all built around a forged and post-machined aluminum body.

Features:

• Large Platform: The shoe contacts the pedal body itself, not just the cleat and cage, locking in your foot for better control and power transfer.
• Low Weight: 326g, putting it among the lightest pedals in the XC category.
• Thin Profile: Reduces the chance of pedal strikes when cornering or riding over rocks and roots.
• Open Center: The open design between the cages sheds mud quickly, so clipping in and out stays quick and reliable.
• Durable Construction: Satin nickel-plated chromoly axles and hard chrome-plated chromoly binding cages, with nickel-plated chromoly hardware.
• Proven Internals: Uses the same design as Wolf Tooth's Waveform flat pedals and premium clipless pedals: three low-friction cartridge bearings and one igus bushing, with a custom radial seal against trail debris.
• SPD Compatible: Works with your existing SPD cleats; Wolf Tooth cleats with shims and bolts are included.
• Cleat Engagement: 5° float and 12° release.
• Q-Factor: Fixed 55mm.
• Right to Repair: 100% user serviceable at home, with replacement parts available, from the axle to the bearings.
• Tested to Standard: Exceeds EN/ISO static and fatigue safety standards.
• Compatibility: Fits all standard cranks with 9/16"-20 tpi threads; some kids' and vintage bikes use smaller, incompatible threads.
