Reviews
I recently purchased the Vittoria Zaffiro V Road tires as replacement for my original 28MM road tires whose time had come. I wanted to move to a wider and more robust tire to accommodate my occasional gravel rides. This tire model and brand has been exactly what I was hoping for. The ride is smooth when it needs to be and confidence building on both hard and gravel surfaces. I will most certainly stay with this tire when the need to replace comes up again. Very pleased customer!
I have bought a couple different generations of this tire. They look good, ride great, and handle well. My only complaint is that I get dry rot cracks within 18 months. I have a tire that is a year and a half old that is developing dry rotting. I bought it to replace another tire of the same brand and model that had dry rot. I dont seem to get that in the continentals or michelins I use. The only sunshine my tires see is when they are out on the road. I wish they could resolve this issue as this is a great riding tire.
Ive been a cyclist for over ten years now and the only tires I used are Vittoria Zaffiro tires. Ive tried other brand but I keep going back to these. It's worth a try and believe me you won't be disappointed.
These tires that came with the bike in May 2022. I figure I put 3500-4000 miles on them with no flats. Just changed the rear tire as the cords were starting to show. Both tires show some sidewall checks after 9 months of use. I'll be intersested to see if the new tire develops checks as well.
I really like these tires. They roll very nice, are quiet and grip well. I am now waiting to see how durable they are and how they deal with the hills and high road temperatures in Fountain Hills, AZ and to see how it effects the mileage between tire changes.
I RIDE 5 DIFFRENT TOURING BIKES .. I TRIED CONTY ETC THE VITORRIA PRO IS BEST I AM IN UPSTATE NY (SYRACUSE) AND LAST YR RODE 7,235 MILES OVER 10 MONTHS (2 MONTHS OUT DUE TO WINTER) I RIDE A LOT I MAKE NO EXCUSE I NEED RELIABE DURABLE NON PUNCTURE ... I ONLY GOT 4 FLATS ALL LAST YEAR AND WHHEN YOU ARE 20 MILES FROM HOME YOU NEED DEPENDABILITY BIT I ALSO REPAIR THEM
IT IS WORTH EVERY DOLLAR THEY ARE THE BEST
I ride them all the time. If I were to do a competitive event, against the clock maybe, I'd ride something lighter and more responsive, but for everyday riding, solo or with friends, you can't beat these things. Mind you, I ride steel bikes and I am NOT a weight weenie or an early adopter type. I like dependable stuff. Like these tires.
I wanted a 32mm tire for path riding that was comfortable but would not have a sluggish rolling resistance. This fit the need perfectly.
Sure, you can spend a ton more and get a faster tire, but probably not this wide and surely not this affordable. It is just a great option to use for replacing any non-competitive bike's original or worn out rubber. Great grip. Comfy. Decently quick roll. Wallet friendly. Easy to install.
These are advertised as 30, but the pair I received run about 27mm. Kind of a bummer because I prefer a bit more width. They have a good road feel though. Nimble on my single speed. No complaints other than the sizing issue.
