The Velotoze Tall Waterproof Shoe Covers use a stretchy latex material to create a form fit over shoes and a tight seal against the leg for maximum weather protection. The tall cuff is designed to go over socks and sit directly on the leg to prevent water entering from above, while down below the velcro- / zipper-less design creates less opportunity for road spray and splashes to work their way in.

Available in multiple colors. Contains latex. Designed for Road Shoes.

Dry Warm Feet

The Velotoze keep your feet relatively warm and dry. Your feet may get a little sweaty but that should be expected.

If youre careful when taking them on and off (follow directions) they will last several rides.

One Use And Done

Used once. Put a finger through one trying to get them on. Once on, couldn't click one cleat into pedal. Had to get off bike and stretch material out of the way. Once under way, didn't do much to keep my feet warm. The one with the hole tore apart when trying to remove. Tossed in garbage and bought cover that zip up.

Wasted time, money and had cold toes. Don't buy.

Worked great until they didnt.

These worked amazingly until they just shredded. These cant be worn with any buckles. They will tear. Even boa systems will tear them. I used them with lace ups and still they tore. But oh those first few times I used them pure dry feet bliss.

Works great. Once.

I followed the instructions putting these on and it took noticeably longer than knit covers but wasn't difficult. These were perfect for this morning's rain although there was an annoying squeak when they would rub the cadence sensor on my crankarm. When taking off the left cover, the bottom split near the cleat hole. I'm going to try and patchreinforce it using an old swim cap, but I'm disappointed in this. This material has a tendency to stick to itself, especially when damp, so maybe that's what happened. If patching works, I think I'll rub some kind of lubricant (Body Glide probably) all over them to minimize the cadence sensor squeak and help avoid sticking.

Size-wise, I ordered the large and it fit my size 45 Bontrager XXX road shoes great.

will likely work well in the rain

I wear size 49 euro and it's a very tight fit. Tore mine on the first time but patched it up with a tire repair kit. I don't anticipate them working for more than a couple times. Appear aero and waterproof. My opinion is that they were designed for smaller shoe size

Work great but

These are more durable that you would think but still pretty fragile. I would NOT recommend these for mountain bike shoes as putting them on over the lugs on the soles is difficult at best and can over stretch the rubber.

They really do the job though. My feet stay dry during a very wet commute. Sweat may be an issue on warmer days. I would not wear them above 60-65 F.

Pay attention to the sizing chart and when in doubt, go larger.

works like it says

They definitely keep your feet dry. I was hoping for something a little more convienient for commuting. They are a bit of a pain to put on and take off. Also they don't seem very durable and can tear easily. They are kind of like putting a rubber glove over your shoes. Also the top part of your ankle will sweat so much you're going to get a little damp one way or another. Not really a fan of these.

Just what I was looking for

Super option for making your feet relatively aero at a very reasonable price. Make sure you read the instructions for putting them on - otherwise you may try to pull them over your shoe like a sock and damage them. If you treat them right you can get multiple uses - I haven't used them during warm weather, but I am guessing them will make your feet sweat 2 or 3x more than normal.

Do keep u dry, if u can get them on!

Like a condom for your shoes, works well enough once on, but ridiculouslyhard to get over a sidi shoe. Improved with lots of baby powder, but i stopped using except for real monsoons, actively raining when i set out.

Use for races only

A bugger to get off without tearing but boy are they good when on

Theres a technical side to getting them on and i recommend watching a YouTube on putting them on but when on no water shall enter your feet

Further they are good TT aero booties but due to their fragilitys Id use them for races only

Work Well But Fragile

These work very well at keeping the water out, but they do make your feet sweat whenif it warms up. They are rubber and do not breath (think balloon stretched over your foot). On the flip side, they offer no insulation, so if it's cold, you need heavy socks to keep your feet warm.

Size chart on product page is pretty accurate, but they can be a bear to get on. Follow the instructions that come with them and I recommend you sprinkle a light coat of baby powder on the inside before you put them on to keep from sticking to your shoes. The baby powder really helps, just don't overdo it.

The biggest problem is durability. This is my third pair and they all seem to tear after about a month or so of regular use. I even tried getting an oversized pair thinking if I didn't have to stretch them so much they might last longer. That did not help.

I do love these things while they last, though. I live in Oregon and keep riding when the rains start. They are the only shoe covers I've found that actually keep the water out.

I agree with the other reviewer, they should be sold in packs of 5 pairs for the same price as the single pair and they would be worth it.

Waterproof as advertised

I picked these up with the hope to find some pretty waterproof shoe covers. These are really waterproof... they are made from what feels like whoopie cushion material. So they are impervious to water seeping through.

But they are hard to get on, (read the directions before you try!) but once you get it they are work fine.

For a ride where you know it is going to be raining for hours, these are good. But they are made out of rubber so on a warmish day, your feet will get warm. And on a cold day, they aren't insulated, so may not be quite warm enough for everyone. I give them a middle of road mark because they really are kind of a pain to put on, and take off. Maybe with practice it gets easier, but you need to be careful not to rip the material.

delicate and hard to put on

left side wore a hole after 5 miles. Partially my fault since my toes rub my cranks, but was hoping for a few weeks of riding.

Got two more holes while wrestling with putting them on.

Patched the worst one with a piece of spare latex tube.

Otherwise they definitely keep the wind and water off.

Velotoze beats rain storms

These are the best Rain shoe covers hands down. It may take a few times to learn how to put these on but you get them on, you won't be disappointed. For the price of neoprene shoe covers you can get 2 or 3 pairs of these. These work best with shoes with Boa dials. Always dust with talcum powder after each use. And if you do get a tear, which usually starts off as a pinhole, don't panic, just clean the hole area and place a glueless patch on it.

Cleanest and Fastest shoe cover out there!

Pain in a butt to get on but after a few tries its easy as pie. I use this for Time Trials, some were wet conditions my feet stayed dry. The tight fit is great to match the rest of your kit! Plenty of colors to choose from

Dry feet are always nice!

Considering the wetness this year, I really appreciated having dry feet! It takes a moment to put on, usually BEFORE putting your shoes on, and then you're set.

Works well for water resistance. A little snug around the ankles.

Used as directed. Works good for some shoes, a little too tight for mtb. style shoes.
