If you ride hard and often, the all new Timber Yew! is just what you've been asking for. It has the same sweet sound and performance of the classic bells, plus a handful of nifty improvements.
It's built stronger, and all parts are now completely modular, including the cable and clapper ringer system. If anything wears out or breaks, you can replace it quickly and easily. So ride hard, ride often, crash into stuff.

- Hinge pin in the bar clamp for easier mounting
- Now fits 35mm bars (includes shims for standard 31.8mm and 22.2mm bars)

Kind of expensive for what it is. Nice and loud to the extent it sometimes annoys other trail users (which is the point!).
Might buy my 3rd bell as the clapper keeps falling off. While I love the mechanic mechanism that retracts and secures the clapper, I think the repeated retracting eventually snaps the string and the clapper gets lost somewhere on the trail.
1st one last 4+ years. 2nd one last less than 6 months :( Despite this am thinking of getting a 3rd.
