The Thomson Elite 35mm Aluminum MTB Handlebar features a 9° backsweep, and 5° upsweep and are built using 7050 alloy for strength and longevity.

The flat bar has a center rise of 8mm, the mid is a 20mm rise. A long straight section in the middle reduces stress concentrations and come in 800mm width. The clamping area is 50mm, allowing a different bend profile for a more compliant ride.

Bars are butted and tapered in many steps for optimal fatigue life. The ends of the bar are thickened from 1.4 to 1.6mm to resist damage from impacts and contact with the ground.

The aluminum riser is carefully created using advanced hydraulic press forming technology. This process creates seamless bends without the need of grinding the handlebar.
