A bit of added comfort. The 2011 Fly Gel features the same base and padding level as the original Fly, but at a lower cost thanks to a long-lasting, smooth vinyl cover and slightly heavier cromoly steel rails. Narrow in the rear for good support of a man's sit bones; completely cut away through the mid-section making it flexible and comfortable against soft tissues; low profile, flat top with multi-density injection molded foam layered with gel that's a bit stiffer in the rear for more power while pedaling; integral suspension bridge design for minimal road shock. Black with molded gray rear accents. Made in Italy. 352 grams.

Works very well as in very comfortable.
I've ridden on these for many years.
Oddly enough, the one I had with titanium rails broke after many, many miles so I just got the Cromoly version this time.

Much better than the non-gel model
Great if you have narrow sit bones and often ride without cycling shorts. Have this on my commuter/touring rig.

Not a bad saddle
Bought this saddle to try on my bike but instead let my wife try it. She has had no luck in finding the right saddle and this one worked well enough to continue to ride it.

extremely comfortable and well constructed with good materials
Definitely the most comfortable saddle I have found to date. I am able to ride all day tours without the discomfort I have had with other brands. It also tolerates Portland weather (summer and winter) with no issues. Highly recommended.

Excellent saddles that WORK for both genders.
Her saddles were revolutionary back in the day. Mine finally broke after 11 years of rough road work. (My 230 pounds had nothing to do with that) Got a new one and it was comfortable on the first ride. My women friends love their too. And both of us for the same reason...happy pink parts.
