The 2Vi® technology platform provides a multifaceted approach to increased impact protection. Mips Air protects against rotational forces (the cause of the majority of concussions). Complex multi-density EPS shock absorbing structure with four impact shields (one in each corner of the head), increased coverage, and variable elasticity shell give the Bushwhacker helmet increased protection performance at both low- and high impact speeds without compromising on weight or volume.
Developed in-house by passionate riders - comfort, design, and increased protection were at the forefront of the innovation process. Reviews
I needed a new lid and this one scored well in the Virginia Tech helmet testing. I tried it on a lark after trying on a similar size in a different brand at a store. This helmet fits me much better than that one and I do like the quick adjustment, it works well. The padding inside is thicker than my prior helmet and the cooling is pretty good for such a well protected helmet. My only slight compliant is the color choices from SP aren't very exciting. The white is WHITE (my wife says I look like a Storm Trooper). As long as my aim on my bike is better than theirs and my melon stays safe, ALL GOOD!!!!
