Description
When durability and affordability are more important than absolute lightness, the Selle Italia SLR TM features all the comfort of the higher-end models but uses hollow manganese rails instead of titanium or carbon. The Fibratek synthetic cover is rugged and weatherproof while underneath lies resilient EVA foam-padding for excellent comfort for the flexible, performance-oriented rider.

Reviews
My butt likes the SLR shape, and I have various models of SLR (and SLS) saddles on various bikes. The SLS was a model introduced about 5 years ago, to bring the classic shape of the SLR to consumers at a more affordable price. It appears to have been discontinued, but the SLR TM appears to be essentially the same saddle, with perhaps a slight upgrade to the shell material and a higher price tag. It's perfect for my steel trainingrough road bike where weight is not critical. I just did three days (180 miles) of riding on some poorly maintained roads and a bit of gravel, and never once thought about the saddle.
