This applies only to the HS492 tread pattern shown here. I like Scwalbe tires and have used them exclusively for years. These have come in other tread patterns (HS427) but maybe not with the Adddix E high speed rubber compound.
The center tread blocks on this tire are are beveled down on the leading edge, The trailing edge of the previous block looks like it would overlap this and give support there. It doesn't because it's part way up the side wall. This tire has a low spot in the center of the tread about every 1.5" all the way around. One 20 foot roll down my driveway was enough for me to not want them on my fast street E bike.
I purchased these directly from Scwalbe NA. I'm asking for an RMA with them.
