The Salsa Cowchipper Carbon Handlebar provides comfort, control, and efficiency for long days in the saddle, whether road touring, crushing mixed surfaces, or conquering the Great Divide. While the Cowchipper retains some resemblance of a traditional road bar, its radical 24° flare in the drops boosts leverage, stability, and comfort dramatically. With a carbon fiber construction, the Cowchipper doesn't have much of an impact on the overall weight at a scant 229 grams.
Features:

Comfortable Bar
Very light and comfortable bar for my gravel bike. Replaced the stock bar on my Giant revolt. I was unable to notice much of a difference between the salsa bar and the stock bar in terms of damping. The stock bar had a weird shape near where it attached to the stem so I was glad to be rid of it.

Excellent bars
Couldnt be happier with the Salsa Cowchipper bars. Really nice upgrade if you have aluminum bars. They definitely take the edge of the road and trail. The shape is perfect for me. On the hoods they feel similar to a regular road bar but in the drops they widen out to give more stability. The drops are also shallow so they are easier to stay in. The bars are nice and light but they feel strong and not overly flexible.

Makes you faster!
Being able to go in the drops but not be hunched over makes a difference. Plus for me its easier to go much faster. I highly recommend these handle bars and the added bonus is much less back back pain!

Extremely light and comfortable
I replaced the flatbar on my Specialized Sirrus with the Salsa Cowchipper carbon handlebar and love the results. It totally improved the feel and ride of the bike. I got a bike fitting right after the swap and changed out the stem as a result.
