Park Tool HBT-1 Hydraulic Barb Tool

I splurged on this tool' but after using other solutions before and ruining my hydraulic brake lines, I appreciated the function of this tool. This is probably not a tool that will be used that frequently; however, with brake lines going through the headset, the margin for error now is limited. This might be a great tool to share with friends' I used it already on two different bike builds. The frustration that it saved me was worth it. Recommend to buy it when BTD has it on sale or offers a coupon.

Works well to install those pesky hydraulic brake inserts and makes a nice square cut to the brake line. Great for servicing and modifying hydraulic brake lines.

Purchased this tool, and I like it a lot. The tool feels great in my hand. It is an all in one tool, versus the old 2 tools I used to get things done. It has good weight feel to it... so basically, from using plastic tools to this tool is an upgrade for me. Hose is cut without effort. The design is simple when I need to change the blade... the clamp is easier and adjustable to use versus my old tool... overall great tool. Price... I believe it is over priced. Being said that, I am a true believer in you get what you pay for... in this instance, I believe I paid more than what I got... I will see with time though if this is true...
