Description
The new BBT-9 Bottom Bracket Tool is designed to remove and install Shimano Hollowtech II, Race Face X-type, FSA MegaExo, Truvativ Giga X-pipe and Campy Ultra-Torque bottom bracket cups. Laser cut for a precise fit, one end of the BBT-9 securely engages the 16 notches of the bottom bracket cups, while the other end engages the 8 internal splines of the crank arm adjustment cap (Shimano). NOTE: The older XTR M952 and Dura-Ace 7703 cartridge bottom brackets use the BBT-2 only. The Dura-Ace BB7700 bottom bracket (adjustable type) uses the BBT-7.

Perfect for Disc Brakes
This is perfect for most disc brakes. I have found that some of the older style bottom bracket tools that fit the same lockrings are not deep enough to accommodate the axles on my wheels.

Awesome tool
This bottom bracket tool is a must have if you want to change your bottom bracket, clean hard to reach places, etc. It works great and how you'd expect it to. Grease, oil, and dirt comes right off if your bottom bracket tool (if dirt can come off of my bottom bracket tool because of a dirty bike, they it is certain that it was clean right off of yours).

Right tool for the job
Fit my FSB BB replacement as described. It may hang idle in my shop for a couple of years - but it will be there when I need it.

Quality Tools
I do all my own bike maintenance on our 4 bikes, 2 road bikes and 2 mountain bikes.
Having the right tool for the job is critical to completing the job without frustration or damaging the bike or yourself. Although I've not yet got around to using this tool all the tools I have purchased from Park are great tools and I would highly recommend Park Tools.

Useful tool for someone like me
Park Tool has been making quality tools for a long time. I need this bottom bracket tool in my collection because I'm changing my cranksets several times a year. I have a front double, single and triple I switch in and out for mountain biking, cyclocrossgravel and road style riding. If you like to work on your own bike instead of taking it to your LBS, then this bottom bracket tool pays for itself in probably one use. You can count on the quality of Park Tools.

Worth the money
I picked this up when my mountain bike bottom bracket seized. I figured removing the old bottom bracket wasn't a big deal with vice grips but probably not a great idea for installing the new one. The right tool is always helpful when doing a job and this isn't any exception.

Must-have tool
Pulling BBs? Swapping disc rotors (some of them)? This is the tool for you. As with everything they make, Park has done a great job making the best tool for the job. If you don't own this, you probably should.
