Meet Mavic's New Cosmic SL 65

Mavic's new Cosmic SL 65 Disc Brake Carbon Wheelset is the perfect choice for fast, flat road races or windy triathlons, this wind-slicing carbon wheel features progressive aerodynamic technology and a stable ride quality. The rim is engineered with a NACA profile that's 65mm deep and 26mm wide.

The wide, rounded shape of the Cosmic SL 65 rim was developed through countless hours in the wind-tunnel to produce the lowest possible drag without sacrificing stability in crosswinds. New refined spokes make it 80g lighter than its predecessor, the Comete Pro Carbon UST Disc. The new rim bed shape makes it easier than ever to fit tubeless or tube type tires. Our new Infinity hub platform optimizes the spoke lacing for efficient power transfer through highly controlled spoke tension. And the Instant Drive 360 freewheel coupled with automatic bearing preload (QRM Auto) provides fast engagement, high stiffness and extra durability.

These wheels are engineered specifically for disc brakes, with an optimized spoke count and lacing. They are offered in Center Lock only and are compatible with 12mm thru-axles that convert to quick release with included adapters. They are available for Shimano or SRAM XD-R cassettes and can convert to Campagnolo with an optional driver body.

Mavic's new Road Tubeless system lets you run lower tire pressure for improved rolling efficiency, a smoother ride quality, and a reduced risk of flats. The new rim bed shape makes it easier than ever to mount and remove tires. If your typical rides include tough climbs, technical cornering and descents, the Cosmic SL 65 Disc is a fast, easy way to supercharge your road bike.
