Description

The Mavic Aksium Disc Clincher Wheelset brings affordability to road-disc wheelsets. The rims feature a disc-specific design with a 17 mm internal width, fitting tires between 25 mm and 32 mm. The areas around the spoke holes have been hardened with Mavic's H2 drilling process for a rim that's stronger where the stresses are highest, and 24 steel straight-pull spokes on each wheel are laced to brass nipples for reliability that's been proven time and time again. At the hubs, low friction cartridge bearings provide no-fuss rolling.

Claimed weight is 1965 g. Shimano/SRAM 9/10/11 speed compatible.
