HED Jet 6 Plus Black Clincher Rear Wheel
The Jet 6 Plus Black Clincher Rear Wheel uses HED's exclusive Turbine Braking Technology to significantly shorten braking distances. The blacked out look is the result of a specially machined and anodized directional brake track that makes for 25% shorter stops in the dry and 70% shorter stops in the wet.
With a depth of 60 mm, the Jet 6 Plus Black is an excellent choice for flat and rolling terrain, yet at a claimed weight of just 1673 g together with the front, it is still light enough to get up hills. The 25 mm wide rim has a 20.7 mm inner width to optimize traction, comfort, and aero advantages. Titanium skewer, rim tape, and valve extender are included.
Includes:
Titanium skewer
Rim tape
Valve extender
Features:
HED's Jet Plus aluminum rim and carbon fairing with an all-black aesthetic
Eliminates the safety compromises of rim brake carbon clinchers
60mm depth adds speed everywhere on your ride
21mm internal width pairs better with today's wider rubber
Tubeless compatible to fend off flats and allows for lower tire pressures
Compatible with Shimano/SRAM 9/10/11-speed cassettes.
Turbine Braking Technology uses special machining and anodizing for 25% shorter stopping distances in the dry and 70% shorter in the wet

Fine In Crosswinds Great Braking Performance
I rode Zipp 808 carbon clinchers for 4-5 years for triathlons and road races. These wheels brake better, seem almost as fast, and handle way better in crosswinds. They arent quite as easy to ride as Ksyriums in the wind. Havent tried them tubeless yet, but will next time have to replace tires.
