Striking a balance between aerodynamic speed and a robust construction, the Eroica GP is designed to be light weight yet provide features seen on much beefier wheels. Moving outwards from the 25mm internal rim width, HEDs fat lip design gives the 6061 aluminum rims an overall width of 30mm for a wide, sturdy platform. Sapim Race spokes keep the wheels quick and light. HEDs aluminum hubs contain a 13 degree engagement, 4-pawl mechanism for quick and solid engagement. Shred your gravel rides with confidence knowing that HED rims have been built to roll with the punches.

FREE Cassette Installation - Order a cassette along with a wheelset and we can install the cassette for free. Cassette installation requires special tools that not all our customers have. The cassette will be professionally installed and torqued to spec. Just add "Please install cassette" to your order notes at checkout and we'll take care of you. Please Note: If our inventory allocation requires that we ship your wheels and cassette from different warehouses, we will not be able to offer this service.

Can't rate the wheels as they arrived in a box with the cassette hub sticking out and showing signs of wear. BTD was great with the return and quick with response to my refund request. Gave me a couple of options, and few hours later the box with wheels was on its way to mainland. Found a pair of Astrals for good price a few weeks later at BTD. Five stars for customer service.
Great wheels, my first experience with tubeless and the tire inflated with a hand pump easy even before I put in sealant. The ride is wonderful and a big upgrade from the stock wheels.
After I got a new frame after one year since the old one cracked I had to switch the wheel set to thruaxle. These wheels are great, still affordable and are holding up well. Tubeless ready with no problems.
Wheels were shipped in strong containers. Nice bearings. Wide ID, so great for bigger tires. Reasonable weight. Best of all, nice quiet pawls in the freehub body. Only have a hundred miles or so, so can't say much about longevity, but HED has a great reputation.
I wanted a second set of wheels for the gravel rig. These are light and strong and beautifully made. They are the entry level HED wheels but you would never know it. The quality is better than others at this price point and I like supporting a family owned business.
