The Assioma Advantage
The Favero Assioma PRO MX-2 is the revolutionary pedal-based power meter for MTB and gravel that's 100% SPD® compatible. It inherits the reliability and extreme precision of the Favero road power pedals, adding unparalleled resistance to shocks during your challenges on the trail.
The pedal body in 6061-T6 aluminum is extremely robust and light, ready for all types of terrain. The clipless system features a surface hardness of up to 800 HV, ensuring that the power meter pedal is as resistant to shocks as never seen before.
The PRO MX-2 uses integrated rechargeable batteries: a single charge guarantees at least 60 hours of use. Charging takes place via a magnetic system.
All The Data & Connections You Need
These power meter pedals can be installed and swapped between bikes like any other pedal. They feature both Bluetooth and ANT+ communication channels, which make it compatible with the majority of bike computers and smart watches on the market, as well as with the major training apps such as Zwift, Strava, Bkool, Trainerroad, Rouvy and many others.
Thanks to the special IAV Power System, the Assioma measurements take into account irregular pedaling (e.g., sprints, climbs) or the use of oval chainrings when calculating power, guaranteeing an accuracy of ±1% in any situation.
The data provided by Assioma PRO MX-2 is based on measurements taken separately on the right and left sides. This allows you to accurately observe not only the total power, but also the left/right balance, which therefore translates into a real and non-estimated data reading.

Reviews
I really wanted to like these pedals for the fact they were reasonably priced and weighed less than a competitors dual - sided power meter pedal. By the 3rd day of use (just general riding on gravel roads, nothing extreme or dirty) the pedals started to drop communication to my Garmin. By the 4th day they completely stopped communicating and appeared to be "dead" despite them being nearly fully charged. Sent an email to Favero and heard nothing 24 hours later. Being a bit concerned about this and having a race coming up, I reached out to Bike Tires Direct, and they quickly helped me get the situation sorted out with some Garmins (which have worked flawlessly).
Well, 10 days later Favero replied (better late than never). And wanted me to do things such as send video of the issue and let them charge for 20 hours. Do some deeper research online before considering these as an option.
Ive been using the Favero Assioma pedals on all my bikes, and theyre fantastic. The installation is incredibly easyjust like installing any regular pedal. Once theyre on, youre good to go, with no complicated setup process. The battery life is outstanding; I can ride for weeks without needing to recharge them, which is perfect for long rides or frequent training sessions. Most importantly, the power measurement is super accurate for both legs, providing reliable data that has really helped me fine-tune my performance. Overall, theyre durable, efficient, and well worth the investment for anyone serious about power-based training.
The MX-2s replaced my Shimano XT pedals. They were really easy to install with a pedal wrench. Charge them, install the app, pair with your bike computer, go ride. The data you get is amazing. There is a lot! So much cheaper than the Garmin pedals too. Thoroughly recommend.
These provide so much insightful information for self improvement. Besides basic watt measurements I love the info on balance and power range between legs. They are easy to install, clip in with no issues and mate up to my Garmin Connect and Edge computer with no problems. For the price it's a great value to buy the pair and get so much more information.
Ive only used these for a few rides. However, they seem like a high quality build. Seamlessly link to my Garmin Edge 1040 & Connect app.
My only complaint is that the charging cables are USB micro, rather than USB-C.
