The Colnago G5-X SRAM RED XPLR AXS is their next-generation gravel bike. Rather than an evolution of the G4-X, it's an entirely new platform, developed from a close analysis of how modern gravel riders actually ride and what they demand from their bike. It combines the speed and efficiency to excel on the road with the capability to tackle whatever lies beyond it, whether that's a race, a long day in the saddle, or a bikepacking adventure.

Features:
- Tire Clearance: Up to 53mm nominal width (with 6mm of clearance) for maximum grip and comfort on the roughest terrain.
- Revised Geometry: Gravel-specific race geometry for better handling on sketchy descents and rough gravel, particularly at high speeds.
- Internal Frame Storage: Down tube storage for carrying tools and spares, accessed through a removable Colnago bottle cage plate; storage bag and repair kit not included.
- Mounting Points: 6 total, including 2 standard bottle cage mounts, 1 under the down tube, 1 on top of the top tube, and 2 on the fork for bottle or cargo cages.
- FIDLOCK® Compatible: Mounts work with traditional bottle cages or the FIDLOCK® system; 3 FIDLOCK® Twistlock mounts included.
- Round Seatpost: 27.2mm round seatpost, potentially dropper-post compatible for more control on technical descents.
- UDH Compatible: Universal Derailleur Hanger standard on the 12x142mm rear thru-axle.
- Chainring Clearance: 1x up to 50T; 2x compatible with all gravel chainrings, plus road compact and super-compact only.
- Threaded Bottom Bracket: BSA 68mm.
