Specialized's water bottles are ubiquitous in the cycling world. Their durability and flexibility make them trusted both by racers at the highest level and the regular joe that's better off knowing his water bottle cap isn't going to pop off in the middle of a summer's day when he's 30 miles from home.
However much of a standard these bottles have set, they've always had one problem; that of the bare LDPE material retaining the odors, tastes, and colors of its contents.
The Purist bottle changes all that, though, by infusing a microscopically thin silicon dioxide coating on the inside of the bottle. This naturally occurring compound creates a malleable and impenetrable barrier that keeps odors, stains, and mold from permanently embedding themselves into the bottle. It's been independently tested against the high standards of the SGS lab in Geneva, so it's proven to maintain its protective properties through the harshest conditions, ride after ride, squeeze after squeeze.

Love these things. I use them every day even off the bike. Great for traveling as well.

Good bottle
I really like these bottles. It cleans easily and never had that plasticy taste. I�ve also washed it in the dishwasher about 10 times and the design isn�t fading. So all in all it does everything a bottle should do.

Great water bottle!
This water bottle is good quality and value for the money. I bought two for my bike and they hold more water than my previous bottles and fit my cages perfectly. Will buy these again!

Great bottle
I ordered 3 of these to try out, and after a few months use they're still great. They fit in the cages wonderfully but the best part is, they have not stained or mildewed when I have forgotten a drink in them. Hope they come back in stock soon so I can order more!

flow seems limited
The sip opening is limited and is easily clogged if you like to put some citrus into your liquids.

Best Water Bottles
These bottles really retain no odor, I wash them by hand, directions state you can wash on top rack of dishwasher. These are my favorite bottles.
