Cascadia For The Win
With our Cascadia water bottle you can bring a slice of the lush, abundant Pacific Northwest with you wherever you go. Featuring the Cascadian flag and a Purist LDPE-free bottle, this new hydration vessel, optimally purchased in pairs, may not only help you ride faster and longer, but may actually help you live your best cycling life.
Coined by naturalist David Douglas, for whom the Douglas Fir is named, the Cascadian bioregion extends from Northern California through Oregon and Washington into lower British Columbia. The flag, nicknamed 'Old Doug' uses a tricolor of blue, representing the bioregion's abundant water sources and river systems, white to represent the snowcapped peaks of the Cascade Range, and of course green, which references the region's rich, verdant evergreen forests.
Specialized Purist water bottles are the gold standard in the cycling world. Their durability and flexibility make them trusted both by racers at the highest level and the enthusiast-grade cyclist alike.
Features:
- 26oz Specialized Purist bottles standardize predictable water flow
- Microscopically thin silicone dioxide-coated interior resists odors and staining
- Independently tested to SGS laboratory standards
- Screw on, push-pull lid
- Engineered to protect against stains and mold growth
- Aesthetically optimized to be used in pairs
- Dishwasher safe

Lids leak
Bought two, lid one one leaked right away, the second one after a few uses. Makes a mess when used in bike cages; can still use them for indoor workouts but wouldn't buy again.

Nice clean tasting, easy to drink bottle
I use these bottles everyday and find them easy to keep clean with no plastic taste. The caps are easy to open while riding but did find the caps can leak some if the bottles are not upright. I have not really found a good lid anywhere but ease of opening and closing while on the fly is more important. I found these during a holiday sale so the price was yummy also.

As Advertised
You half expect a plastic taste when you drink from a water bottle, but the first thing you notice with this one is the total lack of any taste "editing" by the bottle; very clean.

Solid
It does the job. Minimal leaking. Love the design. After all, Im from Cascadia (the region, not the community).
