The Berd Hawk30 Gold 32" is a purpose-built XC race wheel, engineered for riders chasing the top step and personal bests. Replacing their previous XC25 wheels, riders asked for a wider rim, a lighter weight, and a higher engagement hub. With the Hawk30 Gold Berd delivered on all three.

At only 1,196 grams without tape and valves, HAWK30 Golds are the lightest 30 mm internal width production wheels on the planet. If you thought their other wheels were fast, just wait until you try these.

To make it happen, Berd partnered with Erase Components out of Belgium to develop the latest Talon hubs. These hubs feature a high-engagement 70-tooth ratchet system, a titanium freehub body, and new ESL (Equal Spoke Length) technology.
