Ultraz Winter Socks EVO
The Assos Ultraz Winter Socks EVO is their warmest winter sock, updated with triple the insulation across the toes and arch.
The key to maintaining warm feet while riding in winter is to combine insulation with the ability to stay dry from the inside and the outside. These socks combine the stretch and moisture-management of synthetics with the superior insulation properties of wool. Compared to its predecessor, the insulation has then been tripled across the toe and up the blue panel beyond the arch, providing extreme warmth for the coldest days.
Features:
- Blend of synthetic fibers and wool that maintains the best qualities of both for a breathable textile with stretch-and-return properties, odor resistance, warmth while wet, and extreme insulation.
- Seamless construction provides a frictionless fit that wraps the foot in light, compressive support without slumping or restriction at the cuff.
- Toe and midfoot feature extreme insulation.

Reviews
These are the heavy Assos socks. They are one thickness in the black portion but the blue portion is much heavier - this puts more protection towards teh front part of your foot. Assos socks are great and this one fills the need at the top end when the temps dip and you need something to help keep your feet warmer
I was expecting a high performance sock from Assos for wet and cold winter riding in the Pacific Northwest. I have used the product on several rainy rides and have been unimpressed with the Ultraz winter sock. Save your money.
