The Assos Men's T.tiburu_s7 Bib Shorts are the ideal pair of bib shorts for cold, dry fall and winter riding. Featuring a brand-new fabric designed specifically for this short, Assos' new 610.RX fabric is a heavier-than-average fabric intended for comfort and performance in cold conditions. Featuring a brushed lining for warmth and comfort, the fabric maintains outstanding moisture wicking and thermal regulation, while the exterior features Assos' own water-repellent technology, their new AWR. Another cold-weather-oriented feature is their BlasenSchutz panel, located between the crotch and the abdomen, Assos uses a Stratagon wind-block fabric to protect the lower abdomen from chill winds, claiming to reduce the need to urinate while riding in cold weather. While we can't verify this to be true, the added bit of core protection is much appreciated, regardless of bladder-related benefits.
Inside the T.tiburu, Assos' 8mm thick chamois is the beneficiary of their goldenGate and Integrated front Pad Protection (IPP) technologies. Their goldenGate technology removes the chamois/short connection at the left and ride sides of the chamois, allowing it to better follow the motions of the body. Their IPP technology extends the chamois fabric to the end of the panel, removing the seams along the most sensitive areas of the chamois – increased protection, less friction, and a more stable fit.
Assos designs their clothing to fit the changing seasons, dictated by their Assos Layer System (or ALS), dividing the year into seven distinct cycling seasons. The T.tiburu_s7 falls in their median "Fall" ClimaRange, roughly corresponding to 50 – 59º Fahrenheit. To extend this short deeper into the Winter season, add in some leg warmers and these become tights. For more information, refer to Assos' helpful Information Center.

Awesome bibs and warm
These Bibs are great. The fleece like liner in the bibs keep my legs and crotch warm between 40-50 degree weather. I also pair these with the S7 leg warmers for a full legged kit.
