Kiss Rain Goodbye With This Ultra-Weatherproof Jacket
The original Assos Men's EQUIPE RS Schlosshund Rain Jacket EVO hit reset on the old rain shell as you knew it. No longer are you forced into flapping wind shells or bulky winter offerings. Constructed with a superlight and stretchy waterproof shell fabric, complementing the aerodynamic race jersey underneath — a truly impressive defensive layer that checked all the right boxes. So why mess with a good thing? They didn't, Assos simply enhanced it with a few features that make it perform even better on the road.
To start, the Rain Jacket EVO is now available in a new fluoYellow colorway for boosted visibility in those darker, stormy conditions. It retains the same racingFit and Schloss Tex of the original, the latter of which is our lab-developed, race-tested 3L waterproof softshell. With its sandwiched hydrophilic membrane and flexible, breathable composition, Schlosshund delivers on all fronts. Plus, at just 170 grams, it stows in a rear pocket in the same unobtrusive manner as those paper-thin wind shells.
The jacket borrows numerous cues from the legendary sturmPrinz, such as the taped wrists and neck to minimize friction and the appreciated pocket slots that give you access to your jersey pockets beneath. The double-slider zipper has also been updated with a more robust, glove-friendly version, which gives you the option to ventilate from the top or bottom. Featuring a new waterBlock hem, which sheds water and provides a stay-put fit, along with a bold reflective logo on the rear panel's Reflex strip. Upgrade your old rain shell to the Assos Men's EQUIPE RS Schlosshund Rain Jacket EVO for an improvement you'll have to feel to believe.
Features:
Ultra-light 3L Schloss Tex waterproof softshell is a stretchy, extremely comfortable, and highly packable material that incorporates a hydrophilic membrane
Reflective Reflex strip on the rear of the jacket boosts visibility in low-light and extreme weather conditions
Two Pocket Slot openings on the lower rear panel give you access to your jersey or jacket pockets, and serve as ventilation slots
Found along the front, shoulders, rear panels, and zipper, these Taped Seams increase the watertight properties of the jacket
A drop-tail Extended Rear Panel protects your lower back from road spray and dirt
Silicon dots on the inside lock out the elements and provide a secure fit thanks to the waterBlock Hem, while the laminated silicon exterior sheds water
Double-Slider Zipper allows you to ventilate from the top or bottom with ease
Robust zipper construction with oversized pull tabs for intuitive, glove-friendly operation
Treated with Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatment to add one more level of insurance against the elements
racingFit feels like a second skin while riding, resulting in improved comfort and less drag while in the riding position as it is tighter and slightly more compressive than the alternative regularFit and comfortFit.

Keeps dry from the rain BUT
I was in heavy rain at 71* f with about 60% humidity and it did keep dry from the rain but not from all the sweat inside. It didn't breathe any better than the Castillo IDRO rain jacket. I think all of these rain jackets are built for cooler temps where your in rain but won't sweat as much. I love the orange color where the Castillo is black. Not as tuckable or compact as the IDRO but all being said, if the IDRO was brighter color I'd stick with that

nice jacket but upsize
I use this for the rain and as a outer shell that will need to be shedded going from cold to warm. It folds up nice to get in back jersey pocket. I am 5'7 and 145 pounds and the medium was just too tight. The large fits perfect for about any layer underneath. BTD had an unbelievable price on these where I couldn't pass it up

Delivers on Keeping Wet Out
Overall a really nice jacket. Tye zipper is easy to use. The collar fits well and its going to keep rain out.
The pocket access isn't fantastic...my only gripe.
The reflective rear strip is better than expected.
