I've been using the fenders that sorta clip on, across a few bikes over the years. Not so great. They work, until they don't, then you are back to the drawing board. I finally have a way to mount the fenders correctly on a bike and wow, what a difference. Zero vibrations, they don't really do anything wrong. Caught a sale and took the plunge.

We didn't put one of the rear metal brackets on the fender. Had to get screws from the store as our Priority bike and a through screw, not a regular screw. Otherwise I loved the packaging and it went on very easily. Word of warning, that front fender is very long and can get in the way of stairs. But man these protect you and your bike from water and mud like nobody's business. This is our second set. The first is the metal variation that I've been using for a few years. A large ladder landed on my bike and broke a small insert bracket that you can purchase as a part for very little. Love these and will never buy any other brand.

These fenders a light, easy to install, and work as advertised. As a bonus, they match my bike colors, but that was not consideration for purchase. Have been using them for about 6 months now, and they have remained solid and in place, without getting in the way. My only complaint would be the price, but on the flip side the minimal material means they are light, and as indicated earlier, they function very well. If I needed another pair, would not hesitate to purchase these again.

I have tried other detachable rear fenders and this was the most well designed because the parts that attach to the seat-post are very strong and the actual fender material is extremely thin and light. Since it is deflecting rain and mud etc., it is sturdy enough for those sorts of things.
The other thing that I like about this fender is that it does not shift around all the time like other detachable fenders. I think because it is made of very light thin material, if the bike gets a lot of torque left or right, the fender hangs on the seat-post better because it has very low mass.
