After reading several reviews on BTD about the durability of the plastic version of Park Tool's chain scrubber, I splurged for this metal version. I don't regret it. I've ridden for 30yrs and always done my own drive train cleaninug with rags, toothbrushes, and Q-Tips. The chain scrubber is a game changer. This makes the process 3x faster with less mess, resulting in a chain that is thoroughly clean. My drive train is noticeably quieter after using the chain scrubber. It's easy to fill and empty the reservior of the scrubber with Park Tools biodegradeable degreaser or the degreaser of your choice. The internal parts, brushes and pads, can be replaced when worn, which is great. I'm wishing I made this investment about 25 years ago.

My wife and I each have several bicycles, with frames and components made of various materials, including steel, aluminum and carbon. As I'm tasked with performing routine maintenance on all of our bikes, I wanted a lube that would be safe and effective to use on all of them. This was recommended by the mechanics at our local bike shop. I liked that it was available in a size that fit nicely in my portable toolbox. I also like that I can neatly squeeze out only as much grease as I need. The 4 oz. tube is conveniently sized and should easily last me several years.

This is a great tool to carry in your bike kit on those long rides where you may be out on your own or far from support. It's really small, but works like a charm if you have a spoke issue or need to do some road/trail-side repair work. These work really well and for the price you can't beat it. Easy to stash in a seatpack or tube roll. There multiple sizes of this tool so make sure you buy the one that fits your spokes. This is the same tool that I use when doing truing work in the stand.

While I've used a Lezyne tubeless pump for years and it *mostly* worked ok, I would always come across stubborn tire/rim combos (notably with gravel or mountain bikes) that just wouldn't seat the bead.....then it would be off to the bike shop where they would mount it in a matter of seconds with this tool and compressed air. Finally decided to bite the bullet and get one (already had a small DeWalt air compressor), and it works like a champ. I've had no issues with presta or shrader valves, and removing the valve core to mount stubborn tubeless tires works very well. As an added bonus, just filled up my car tires as well....no more having to blow out my triceps pumping those up anymore. If you have an air compressor, change out tubeless tires somewhat often and have issues with mounting, you need one of these. After a few $20 trips to the bike shop to get tires mounted, it starts to pay for itself.
