I am very happy with this wheel. I got it to replace the OE Bontrager rear wheel, which cracked the rim at a spoke nipple
When it arrived, the box was pretty beat up, but the wheel was undamaged. Out of the box it weighed 908 g.
I had to use tire levers to get my GP5000 clincher on, but that's typical.
I swapped over the disc and cassette and put in on my Domane. The disc fit perfectly with no adjustment of the caliper needed. The derailleur needed a little adjustment to shift just right.
A little way into my first ride, I thought something was wrong. I couldn't hear the free hub at all when coasting. But everything was fine, its just the quietest free hub I've ever heard.
The rim is very true. All is good!
And I'm thinking the bladed spokes will make up for my non-aero, upright riding position. :)

I have never liked using the standard quick release skewer - when installing the wheel, either it is not tight enough or too tight.....no problem just a hassle to get it correct. Infrequently, I have had my front wheel skewer start to loosen after many miles of riding. One of my other bikes has a thru axle front fork, which is very secure. While. shopping for a new QR skewer, I stumbled upon the DT Swiss RWS skewer.....a perfect solution. Very secure, and quicker and easier to correctly tighten. My front wheel is now as secure with the DT Swiss skewer as it would be with a thru axle bolt.

As Adaptors go, I find this brand to be a good one. It matches my DT Swiss hubs exactly, with none of the mixed off-brand mish mash that I find so dreadful to have to tolerate looking at. This esthetic gives me ultimate confidence that when I grab a handful of brake, my bike's forward momentum will be reduced in a most pleasing, eye-appealing way. Safety too, is enhanced using products designed to be an integral, cohesive unit.

I bought these for my Ridley CX bike. The skewers that came with my original wheelset, and the race wheels I use, constantly had the skewers loosening up during a training ride, or worse, during a race. These skewers allow you to keep tightening the skewer until you are happy with its force, and then you can simply push in the end and rotate the lever out of the way. Stays tight!
