After 4 decades of riding and maintaining bikes, I viewed waxing chains as a solution in search of a problem. A sale and a YouTube rabbit hole made me give it a shot. Now I can't believe I waited this long to make the switch. Like tubeless, it's much more work up front, but makes your life so much easier in the long run. No more dirty hands and gear, much quieter drivetrain, and no more daily degreasing and re-lubing. Finally, I can enjoy the life of someone who doesn't care about their drivetrain - without destroying my drivetrain. I've only ever used Silca, as their products all work well, but this is the only way I'll ever lube a drivetrain again.

I've used this Silca kit a few time and carry it when ever I go for a ride on any of my CF bikes. It's handy to know that you're not under or over cranking anything a bolt or anything else on these newer bikes. It has what you need and it light enough to carry while it's in a very good long term feeling case. My last long adventure (154 mi. race at Gravel Worlds, NE) I had it but didn't need it...peace of mind. As usual, I got it for a better price than the Silca website too.

This review is only valid for skinny road bike tires running high pressure (over 60psi).
I had hoped this sealant was the magic bullet, but alas no. I ride a road bike with 75 psi pressure in the tires. I've had three large punctures running this sealant. One of the punctures was a #6 wood screw, so maybe a 5mm hole. All three sealed with some air loss and spewed sealant everywhere, but I could ride home so yay! However, when I tried to pump the tires to 75psi sealant wept out of the hole. It seems that this sealant will plug big holes up to about 40-50psi, but no more.
Yes, I tried waiting a couple of days and then pumping up to 75psi. No joy, sealant still oozed out of the hole. Finally, for all three large punctures I stuck in a Stan's Dart. Worked like a champ after the sealant had about 5minutes to react with the tail feathers of the Dart.
Moral of the story: This sealant plugs small holes and you won't get those aggravating slow leaks, but carry a Stan's Dart, Dynaplug, or bacon strip in the event of large punctures.

When misfortune strikes and you need to air up your tires, the Gravelero gets the job done. Got a spurter on my tubeless. Plugged it. Aired it. And back on the trail lickity split
While not inexpensive, the value is high because of the quality/design that works well. Brought a mid-volume gravel tire up to 32 psi in less than a minute. The flexible hose allows you to pump without ganking your valve. The head locks on securely. And the pump mounts tight with the frame and doesn't fall off in the chonky stuff. When you get a flat tire, you do not need additional misery.
