Put these on a custom build a few years ago. Lots and lots of miles until a major crash a few months ago. The only damage to my bike (body took the brunt of the damage) was a crushed bar end. Could have replaced them with anything but wanted these. I really like the aero top of the bar - super comfortable for a climbing position or relaxed position cruising. No flex on out of saddle climb (86kg rider). Was lucky to find them in stock at BTD. My bike was put back together again before I was able to ride again.

I've been riding with this bar for three years now. I have no idea if the aero design has any value to me in terms of efficiency. What I do know is that the tops, and drops, are very comfortable. Unlike other bars I've used, the drops are long enough to fit my entire hand on. The curve leading to the shifters is very gradual, which gives many possible hand positions. I do not like the 'short' round portion at the center of the bar as it isn't long enough to mount a light and have it point straight, down the road. It does, however, accommodate an after market computer mount without problem. If the center portion were just a little bit longer, this bar would be perfect for me.

Awesome design! Very lightweight and strong. Excellent priced product.

Replaced an FSA K-wing compact with these. The larger flat surface is nice, I find the tapering works well with how my hands rest on the bar tops. I also like the slight straight portion of the bend, more comfortable for me when riding in the drops.

Bought these as part of a rebuild project. First set of carbon bars for me. I expected some vibration dampening but over Texas finest chipseal I didnt really notice a difference and perhaps the aero profile is part of that. With only 70mm reach I did kind of miss the extra length of bar to support my wrist-forearm when aggressively riding the hoods. Moving shifters further down the clamping area made an uncomfortable transition to the hoods so I left mine up near top of clamping area. Im sure this is a very preferential thing though but ideally I think Id like to go back to 80 reach. Cable running is a pure joy! While clearly optimized for SRAM, my DA9k shifter and brake cables surprisingly both fit with a little effort through the slot on the inside of the bar. I was shocked! And no fishing out by the stem- just exited without issues! Nice clean look- I run bar tape only to the corners leaving tips nude carbon. Its a nice matte color. I dont run gloves - can get a bit slippery with sweaty palms but cleanup is a nice 20 second wipe down so Im staying the course for now. Overall a very nice piece of kit.

These bars are one of the best investments I've ever added to my bike. Although they may seem a bit pricey, the benefits from the added hand positions are worth the extra cost. Anyone that has ever had an issue with their hands going numb while riding should seriously think about a set of these bars.

Love this aero bar! And Zipp is certainly a premium brand, so at under $$$ on sale, it's a great value. The drops height is a little shallow compared to past bars I've ridden, but after a month of riding I don't notice it any more.

have use a fsa wing compact on several bikes. just built up a CANYON AEROAD and felt an aero bar would be good. did not want a barstem combo do to my personal finickiness re set up. I opted for the Zipp SL-70 Aero Carbon Handlebar for it's aero design, weight, ergonomics and road abortion attributes. I am not disappointed with the bars. the geometry is almost identical to the fsa's I am used to which was a primary reason for my choice. these are the first carbon bars I have used to date.

Some aero bars do not had enough room for your computer mount. So I called BTD, They are so helpful they went to the effort to measure the bar to see if my mount would fit (yes it does have room for most mounts).
I have been reading about all the new aero bikes coming out, but love my Cannondale Evo so thought about upgrading the bars (much cheaper than a new bike) I am 5'9 but always liked narrow bars (previously had 40cm) went with 38cm on these. I had to get used to them at first but they really work for me aside from being more aero than a wider bar my body seems to be more in line so for me they seem more efficient. they are also really comfortable. So do they make you faster? I would say Yes! Riding some flat areas I know my top speed has been much better....80% of aero drag is caused by the rider so to make gains you should mount these low to see the benefits.

I love these aero handle bars. They are light and stiff. I feel faster when riding with them.

I wanted aero bars for awhile, but held off because they're expensive and my regular bars were fine. I finally made the switch and I'm so glad I did. These bars (paired with Zipp stem) feel incredibly solid and are extremely comfortable. Really enjoying them. Wish I'd switched earlier.
