I'm new to gravel biking and bought these tires to convert a road bike to gravel configuration. I ride on well groomed former railbed trails. I purchased these tires because they are similar to WTB mountain bike tires that I used for years (until I got old and my body coudn't take MTB anymore). Bottom on the well groomed trails these tires are great. I've ridden some short distances on paved roads and the tires arn't bad considering the agressive tread.

Converting my 2921 DS4 to a pure gravel bike meant getting the road only tires off from the previous owner.
Worked well on the road as described. Would absolutely buy again.

I wanted a tire for fall through early spring - more bite than my preferred summer low resistance tire. The Nano tread pattern and material provides much more confidence on trails with leaves, sand, and in the damp (I mostly a fair weather rider). I like the center rib because of the way it rides on the pavement.
I would give 5-stars but I notice more tire noise when going above 20 mph on pavement.

I put these on my Dual Sport Bike because I wanted to hit the single track without using my Schwalbe Marathons. These have plenty of grip and decent cushioning for a 40c tire. I ran them at both ends of the psi range and found a nice zone for pavement and dirt. I only have a couple hundred miles on them so for longevity we shall see, but I ran them pretty hard on roots some mud, gravely surfaces and fire roads without any issues. Decent tire on the road as well not a slug. They are easy on and off and do what I need them too. Went thru sand well too! A good option for muti use.
