Started to get flats after about 200 miles on the rear tire. Ran tubeless and finally got one i couldn't repair with 3 dynaplugs in the same hole. Great ride quality but not the most durable.

I bought these for my winter bike, specifically for wet and crummy roads. Bad choice. I was on a bike path roundabout that I've ridden hundreds of times in all conditions. This was the first time with the WTB Expanse in the wet. I wasn't pushing hard. Just riding, and the front tire just slid out. No leaves or grit or anything. Just bad wet traction. I've been riding Schwalbe Pro Ones and Schwalbe G One Speed tires, and I'll be going back to the 30c G One Speeds on the winter bike - after my newly sprained ankle heals!
I bought the WTBs because they were slightly wider (32c) and had a bit of tread on the side for light gravel, plus they are reasonably priced. The seemed okay in the dry, mounted well, and I thought I would be happy with them. So I still gave them two stars. But I found the wet traction to be terrible.

They are still new (only a few rides), only reason for 4 stars is waiting to see durability and wear. Will aren't after more rides

First time they mounted fine after some difficulty. The ride was great. Not bad off road even. Switched to Gravel King full slicks for a couple months. They were a breeze to mount and seat the beads. Then I went back to these Expanse tires, but it was impossible to get the beads to seat properly. Went back to the slicks.

I've put a pair of these in 32c on my travel bike. As there's no travel right now, the bike has become my foul weather rider with fenders. The tires at low pressure are like riding on pillows, and at higher pressure they roll fairly quickly. They look the part, and set up tubeless with little effort. I'm running them on a set of HED Ardennes wheels, so 21mm internal, and the tires run a few mm larger at higher pressure.

Two different tires, inflated to correct psi, both ended up with blisters on the tread. One replaced by WTB after I reached out and filed a warranty claim. Nice that WTB stood by their product,

32 mm Used for BWR San Diego 2020. 130 miles of mixed surface racing and over 10,000 feet of climbing. Handled the roughest parts of the route with ease. Not the fastest on the road section but did not flat once! These have tight tolerance/ difficult to mount on wheel but once on give high confidence. Im 61 170 lbs. I run them at 44-48 psi depending on route

I used these for 2021 BWR San Diego, full waffle, no flats , no burbs , no issues , still looked new at end race.

Perfect for those all-road mixed terrain surfaces that are so abundant in the Pacific NW
