Clamping down of excess weight
As a die-hard titanium bicycle owner, the Wolf Tooth Components Seatpost Clamp to compete with my weight weenie carbon bike buddies. It may be mind over matter vanity, but it works as designed and shave some grams. I recommend the upgrade

It Clamps, ...like it should
My lame original equipment clamp broke, the female threads striped while re-tightening. Yes I was using a torque wrench. This one was well reviewed, light, made in USA and has a cylindrical anchor barrel. That cylindrical anchor barrel should give better tread alignment and long life.
