Used for a 1x10 set-up so I could get the most out of lower gearing. Paired with a 1070 Sram cassette, 32t Wolf Took chainring and a Sram XO long cage rear derailleur. Shifts as smoothly as any other cog on the chainring.

Converted a 2012 Epic Comp to a 1x10 setup, which is perfect for most Florida trails. But riding some of the climbs at Tsali, calls for a granny gear that will allow this old man to stay clipped in all the way up. This Wolf tooth 42t cog, with the single 32t front ring gives me exactly what I need. But removing the 17t cog to make room for it, I had a sizable jump from the 15t to the 19t cog. I also replaced the 15t with a new 16t cog. Seems to shift just fine now. (The original X9 derailleur was NOT compatible even with the longer B adjustment screw. Put a new X0 type 2 derailleur on and it all came together. Make sure your derailleur is really compatible before you purchase. Ended up to be an expensive mod, but the final setup is pretty nice.
