These came with my Bianchi. The rear tire lasted for 1000 miles the front is still going after 2000. I cant complain about the longevity or toughness of the tires. I raced in 3 early season Roubaix races and did not puncture.
I am buying the 28's this time to do a few gravel grinders here in Co and the Kwansa 200. These tires are not folding tires so they are going to be tight fitting, so just knowing this makes the job for me easier. I just need to bring the right tools.

I was looking for a tire for winter riding - a little more traction and girth, but still not super knobby. This tire is perfect and haven't had any problems with wear or flats.

On club rides, I'm usually one of the slower riders, but on the downhills, with my Zaffiro's pumped up to 110 psi, I coast faster than anyone.

I bought a pair of these tires about 6 months ago. I have put 2700 miles on them and I have had no flats. No Cuts. No failures all summer long. My rear tire still looks like it could go hundreds of miles more.
Let me say that I live in Southern California the land of drunks, broken beer bottles and goat head thorns.
I also weigh in at over 240 pounds so I am completely amazed at the toughness of these tires. They are a bit on the heavy side and they also are a bit tight to mount on Mavic open pro rim. But, I can still put the tires on without tools and I am no Hercules. I do need tools to remove them though.
The last few days I have been riding these tires in the rain and they may not be as grippy as some other tires in the wet but they did okay for me.
The black rubber sidewalls did show lots of cracking early on but these did not cause any problems with the tires. I ride size 28 width for pinch flat control.
Love them!

I bought this tire for my brother's Canondale CAD100. He had on the original tires. He never rode the bike. After putting on these tires he absolutely loves the bike. It is fast without any sense of drag. Now he feels safe and rides all the time.
To be honest I don't know one brand from another. This was recommended by a bike this site and it worked out real well. This is also not a BS post.

I rode with a guy today who just bought a $6000 bike and he probably will not want these Zaffiros. However, on my 27 year old steel Conalgo, they are just about perfect. I don't know where that 130 PSI in the specifications comes from. The sidewalls on my 700x23c tires state min -100 PSI and max -145 PSI. I ride them at 145 for low rolling resistance and maximum performance. Of course I can't DETECT any difference without scientific instruments, but I want the highest pressure I can get to help me avoid being dropped by the carbon folks. I bought four, and so far, one has been ruined by a road hazzard. But that can happen to any tire. Otherwise, I have experienced no pesky flats in about 600 miles of riding (much of it on road shoulders litered with gravel and glass) So I believe the protective belts are working. These tires are a little harder to mount (on my particular rims) than a folding tire, but that is to be expected, all that is needed is some strength and skill. How do they handle?? Fine, just fine - like any tire. (I only ride the bike, I don't make LOVE to it) Vittoria is a recognized brand with a good reputation, and the price of these Zaffiros is unbeatable. I recommend them.

I use my bicycle for transportation and ride on road, paved trails, and crushed limestone trails, and my bicycle is decked out for touring with fenders, racks front and back, lights, the works. I always ride with one set of panniers on the front, sometimes a second set on the back. My riding style is brutal on tires. I've purchased expensive tires and suffered buyers remorse early on because they did not hold up as expected.
These tires are a steal at the sale price.

This is a good casual tire that also enhances the look of the bike.

These installed well and the first test at 50 miles suggest these are a great value. Unlike other inexpensive brand tires, I do not detect any twisting of the carcass or other defect. I ride bike trail and a little bit of city street. I would recommend these at this point if you are looking for a good, entry level tire.

I originaly bought them becouse they were low cost but then fell in love with them.they handle real nice and seem to have low rolling resistance plus I have never goten a flat since i got them.I ride about 27-35 miles a day and have put about 2k on them and they seem to be wearing pretty well.A few weeks ago i bought a new cannondale and it came with schwabe lagonos.I dont know if it was just bad luck but after the first ride out i had a cut in them, so i ordered a pair of vittoria,s and i sure could notice a big differance in rolling resistance.I weigh 255lbs so being able to put my 23,s up to 135 lbs of air is a big plus in my book.

Wonderful tire at a fantastic price! I ride several hundered miles a week, on my Fuji, in all types of weather on roads in upstate New York. These tires have proven ideal in value and durablity. Not only do they hold the road extremley well under wet conditions, the tread patern adds in no effort turning adding saftey to my rides. Durable and cost effecent, I get up to 1,000 miles tread life before needing to replace tire. Love these tires!!

The Vittoria Zaffiro 700c Road Tire is one tough tire.
I recently bought a set to replace the cheapies I usually ride on because these tires come in a size 28. Size 28 is really scarce for some reason. I weigh in at 240 pounds and I need that bigger tire to prevent pinch flats.
First thing I notice out of the box is that these tires have a very robust sidewall (stiff and tough). Great for the occasional gravel road you will run into in your travels. The next thing I noticed is that I had to really struggle to install this wire beaded tire on a Mavic open pro rim. I usually have no trouble installing tires with no tools on rims but these tires are REAL tight. Carry good tools with you when you ride or you may not get these off the rim to fix a flat.
I have now put 1000 miles on these tires since my purchase. Not one flat. No cuts, no one problem. My cheapie tires that I was using would not last 1000 miles without the cords showing thru but these Vittoria Zaffiro's appear to have lots of life left in them. Because of my size tire do not last like smaller rider's tires do.
I did notice, however, that the rolling resistance seemed a bit higher than the tires I had previously been using but I quickly got used to that extra effort.
So I am impressed and will purchase this tire again when needed.

I bought these tire to put both on my wife's and my cyclocross bikes for road and limestone trail riding. They have served both surfaces well. We have had not flats, and no problems in sand, limestone, dirt or blacktop

I pump these up to 120 rear and 100 front, they're 700x23, I weigh 135lbs. I have gotten a couple of flats with these before, I ride in Houston and the roads are bad. But those times I flatted were entirely my fault, like when I ran over a the lip of a giant metal plate covering a manhole, you could hear the rim hitting the ground and I just knew a pinch flat was happening. I regularly commute on these tires, everyday. I then rode it to Austin for the MS150, no flats, high speed descents, corners as confidently as I could as a non racer. Your mileage may vary. I am curious about getting the continental 4000 tires, though, I'm looking for a faster and more supple ride.

I spend lots of hours on the indoor trainer and this is the best trainer tire I have found. It's cheap but can withstand the heat of the trainer and hours of riding.

This is definitely one the better tires for this level. It's got 1700 miles and holding together well. The last brand I used only lasted 800 miles, and I was in the middle of a long ride when it got a cut in it and blewout.I would trust these on a long ride.I'll buy more.
