I have always liked the Vittoria Rubino tires, but this latest version is one of the best I have ridden for every day road riding. I mounted them on Mavic Krysium Pro UST rims, and these tires mounted easily with a great seal. On the road they feel very light and quick to me relative to the Michelins I had previously. These tires are a great option for tubeless ready rims.

At this price on BTD, they are a great value. They have found the sweet spot between light (325g), supple (100TPI nylon), puncture-protected, grippy and fast. They are not a race tire, but I don't need one; I want more confidence in long training miles, or no-flat triathlon miles. Rainy rides, no problem. Still grippy. They are not an armored tire, but ever since going tubeless, my punctures all sealed. (I used to flat every 3 rides on tubes even with armored tires!). I no longer need to carry the weight of armored tires. I have read reviews claiming difficult installation, but now that I have installed a few different tubeless tires, I find these no harder than any tubeless to install. (on dtswiss erc1400 dicut wheels) Well done Vittoria.

Mounted easy. Holds sealant and air very well. Fast and stout casing for not so smooth back country roads. Very cost effective.
