Using these on mostly single track, dry conditions and they are really good. Low rolling resistance for such aggressive tires. On really hard packed corners, they can be a little skittish, but mostly these have been great. No flats and they are good looking. Very easy to mount tubeless on my Hunt XC wheels. I don't know if that is more the tire or the rim, but I was able to seat them without using a reservoir pump. Just a regular pump and they seated first try. Very happy with these tires.

I've used these tires exclusively on my Cutthroat since my 2018 changeover from the stock Maxxis. These tires have been with me throughout the Divide (only needed one set for the entire route!) and on many other bikepack trips all over the West. The rolling resistance and sidewall protection are key features I want for my bike tires, and the tires have lived up to their reputation. I choose the 2.35" because of increased confidence on rocky descents and floating over sand and mud. The service and delivery of BikeTiresDirect is superior. These tires have been hard to find and keep in stock at other venues, and BikeTiresDirect had no problem filling my order immediately.

I have two of these on a Surly Ogre that mostly sees bike paths and gravel but occasionally use them in single track and they never miss a beat. Aired down for trail use they grip well even on uphill roots.

These are my all-around go to tires. Have ridden these the length of the Divide, 43 days of riding on all kinds of terrain and weather conditions. Sturdy sidewalls, perfect tread for grip, excellent rolling resistance. I choose the 2.35" tire for confidence riding on rocky descents, across sand, and this width won't slow me down on asphalt stretches. Highly recommend these tires! Bike Tires Direct excellent sales and speedy service are five star as well!

Tires just right for me, as I usually ride on roads to get to the trails. The design is fast and quiet on the roads, and grip is good on the trails (except in mud). Actual measurement of the 2.6 tire was about 2.3 on my rims (set up non-tubeless). Does have some wobbles in them, though.

I had my first ride with the Mezcals by Vittoria. I love them. A noticeable improvement with rolling resistance. And they really are quieter then what I was running. Im starting the Via Francigena on September 8th. Im glad I will be rolling on the Mezcals!

So far so good. Not buzzy on the road. Fast and comfy off-road. Tires for eating non paved miles. Anthracite sidewall not for fresh cracked basalt on the sides of our north central CT trails unless you're into gaping holes but maybe I was running my pressure too high or getting lazy. Will repair with a nice stitched look and keep the newest for a spare.

These things are fast. I have them front and rear. I replaced a racing Ralph. The Schwalbe was a little more compliant and very grippy for small knobs. But this tire keeps it's composure and corners surprisingly well. I am still a little conservative in Kitty litter and looser conditions but maybe a little crazy still and never had a washout. They shine in hero dirt and hardpack. Last a long time. Minus for wet roots and where the tire needs to hookup to get you up something that is not solid. Solid descender unless it's steep heavy breaking. This is a great xc performer.

I use the tires on hard and loose pack trails, tree root and rock, I haven't had a chance to try in mud or snow yet to see how they clean and grip. I use them on my fronts and haven't put them on the rears, I use a longer knobbie on rears.

I have ridden the 2.25" and 2.6" versions of these tires on several extended bikepacking trips with zero issues.

I've gone through several sets of Mezcal's, from 2.1 up to 2.35. Mainly used for extended bikepacking trips consisting of dirt roads and some single track, with a bit of pavement. Always good luck with these tires. They roll smooth, handle a variety of terrain, surfaces and are quiet on the pavement.
