I tried road tubeless. It was okay, but could be messy if the sealant doesn't work. Latex tube aren't messy, and are more flexible than butyl . Victoria makes some of the best tires. I liked getting latex tubes with Vittoria tires. I ridden these tires over 2,000 miles, with latex tubes. I had no flats. The sidewalls are stiffer than "racing" Vittoria tires. On the chip seal roads in my area, they work very well. I weigh 175 pounds, using the SRAM tire pressure chart, I use 80 PSI in the front and 83 PSI in the rear. When any of my other tires wear out, I am ready to replace them with Vittoria Corsa Control.

I love Vittoria tires, I've run Conti 5000's and do not feel any higher rolling resistance in the Corsa's. Did a race in Texas with a very heavy chip seal (Texas Cobbles) the combo of the Corsa tires and latex tubes were perfect for contact and limiting the bounce or chatter from other race tries. The Twin pack is a great value as well.

As a former racer, this feels almost like riding on tubulars. Precise, smooth rolling tire and great road feel from latex tubes. Avoid costly errors, latex tubes require care to install. Watch a youtube video if it's your first time doing that. Yes, they need pumping up before every ride, but I do that in any case.

I been running these for about 4 years now, since before the "2.0" version. Great tires, and the twin pack is a really good deal.

Tires are great. Tube valve stems suck. They have no threaded exterior and are rather short so getting a pump to grip them is a challenge.
